~Ethen's POV~
I was heading up to my room from a long day at school-, being called 'Net', isn't the best nickname. Austin said that its in my name and it suited me well. E.T.H.E.N. he somehow got Net out of how my name is spelled. He said it suited me well because he said, and I quote, "you 'net' in all the ladies."
Anyways, -and suddenly got a text from an unknown number.
Unknown number: Hey, watch a doing?
I knit my eyebrows.
Me: who is this?
Unknown number: Trever Wolfe. Who is this?
Me: Ethen Wolfe. Do I know you?
I waited a couple more minutes before he replied again.
Unknown number: Sorry wrong number. How old are you?
Me: 18. How old are you?
What if he's older than me, then that means that I'm not effected by the curse. But what if he's just a cousin or something? I could have many other siblings out there, who knows? But what if he is my brother? Don't give your hopes up, he could be 12 for all that I know.
Unknown number: 25. Who is your dad?
Me: Cody. Yours?
I saved his contact as Trever, and waited for a reply anxiously. My phone bleeped, and I nearly dropped it because it startled me.
Trever: Cody . . .
