Simon's heart sped up at the sight of Izzy. Her ink black hair curled in the wind, her pale skin shone in the light. She's always been so beautiful, so strong. And she was his. All his.
Her smile lit up like a candle. Izzy walked towards him with a sway in her hips. Simon's breath caught in his throat. Their wedding was only a few weeks away and neither one of them could wait.
"Don't stare!"
Her girlish laugh made him smile. He knew she loved when he stared. She was a bundle of sweet contradictions. After he lost his memory, Simon had desperately wanted to get his life back. To get her back.
"You love it and you know it."
He wrapped his arms around her and swayed gently. Izzy smiled against his chest and allowed herself to be swayed and held.
"Simon?"
"Yes?"
"I'm pregnant."
