Claire woke up in a panic and found herself in a hospital bed. A nurse came running in trying to calm her down. Jason came running in and Stephanie and Kevin. Jason hugged Claire and Stephanie and Kevin stood next there bed side. The nurse left when Claire calmed down. She had a cut on her head that was stitched up and her arm was in a cast. She had bruises on her arms and legs. She was really sore and had a slight headache. The police came in shortly asking her some questions about what happened. She told them about the mysterious driver who tried to kill her. She couldn't see who was driving because the windows were tinted. She told them what she could remember before passing out. They made a police report and wrote down Matthews name as a suspect, seeing he was the only one who had intentions of hurting her. The police told her who had helped her was an retired police officer. He had sent some flowers and a card. Claire told the police to thank him and she was greatly appreciative. She got a restraining order on Matthew and they delivered it to him at his home. He balled it up in front of the cops and slammed his door in they're face.

Jason was furious! The police asked him a few questions and Kevin and Stephanie. Kevin and Stephanie were shocked to hear what had been going on. Stephanie was kinda hurt she didn't tell her, but she could understand why. Jason grabbed Claire's hand and told her it be OK. She promised to protect her from then on and Matthew was going to pay. He was out to get Matthew and he wouldn't rest until he was dealt with. They might not have proof it was him, but they knew he was the cause of all this craziness.
Claire was released from the hospital a few days later. Jason drive her home. Her car was totaled from the accident. They got to her house the house had been vandalized! Her neighbors came out and told her they called the cops on a masked intruder. Her windows were busted and someone had driven a car all through her lawn! Claire was scared and didn't feel safe. Jason told her to pack some clothes and she would stay with him for a while till things died down. They made a police report as well. That made her feel a little more comfort.
