Jason told him to let Claire go. He took the gun and pointed it at himself! He whispered something in Claire's ear and she froze and looked at him. Then he shot himself!!!
Claire screamed! Jason ran and picked up Claire and got her out the bathroom. The police and ambulance were called and the club was shut down for the night. Everyone met up at Jason and Claire's apartment after they talked to the police and given the ok to leave. Jason parents were in shock and couldn't believe what happen! Everyone comforted Claire and made sure she was OK. All this drama and mess happening the week of her wedding. She was really shaken up with everything. Jason was relieved Matthew had shot himself! It was all over now.
Everyone spent the night at Jason's and Claire's. It had been a long night and everyone was tired.
They next morning Jason's mom made breakfast for everyone. The smell of the food woke everyone up.

It was the defective telling him Matthew died late last night. Jason was glad to hear this. He got off the phone he told everyone the news. Everyone was quiet. Claire got up from the table and walked out the front door outside on the porch. Jason followed behind her. He asked her what was wrong. She stood there in silence for a moment. Then turned and faced Jason. She began to cry. "He whispered something to me in the bathroom before he died," she said looking down. Jason asked her what? She told him he told her, "if he couldn't have me no one could," she said frowning in a gaze.
Jason hugged her and told her it was over now and he was gone forever. He reminded her their wedding was in a few days and they had much to look forward to in their future. He cheered her up and the went back and joined everyone. That was the last night they spent together until the wedding. Claire stayed at the apartment with Rita, Stephanie, the two girls from her job, and Kevin. Jason stayed at his parents house with his dad, and two groomsmen for the wedding, two guys who worked at Claire's shop. The days went by quickly and the wedding was a day away.
