A/N: Maddie shall be played by Ashley Benson (pic to the right) XD

It all happened before lunch and it’s all still a blur to Maddie. We were walking out the gym when we were stopped by Sam.

He was wearing his gym clothes and he didn’t look like a happy camper. The hall was empty, because everyone was in a rush to get to the cafeteria and hang out with their friends. I felt edgy when I saw Sam storm up to us.

Maddie was all cheerful to see Sam. “Hey S-,” she was interrupted by Sam.

“I guess any one will do huh,” Sam shouted.

“What are you talking about?” Maddie was smiling at Sam.

“As stupid as you are I know you understand what I’m saying.” Sam was shaking in fury.

“I really don’t know what you’re talking about,” Maddie’s voice was light when she spoke to Sam. She put her hand on Sam’s tense shoulder.

He flicked her hand off like it was an annoying fly. “Why do I always have to suffer, because of you? Why can’t you just open up your eyes and realize my feeling.”

“Sam I think you need to calm down,” I said in a high voice.

“I hate it when you get like this.” Maddie put her hands on her hips.

“Bullcrap. I wouldn’t be like this if you weren’t like you are. Stupid and clueless!” he yelled at Maddie.

“Sam you’re taking this too far and you need to stop.” I was starting to get mad at Sam for being so rude. I understood that he was frustrated, but this was not the way to go about it.

“Stay out of this new girl,” he lashed out at me.

“Don’t speak to my friend like that you pig,” Maddie looked madder then Sam and I combined. Who knew someone could make a cute face so ugly with madness.

“How long have you known her for? A week or two and she is already your close friend.” Sam’s nostril’s flared.

“No she’s my best friend and she is more of a friend then you’ve been lately.” Maddie turned on her heels and started to walk away.

Sam pushed me out the way and pinned Maddie to the wall. “What are you doing? Let go,” Maddie struggled.

Sam planted a kiss on her lips so breathe taking that she kissed him back. His grip on her wrist turned into entangled fingers and hands.

I stood still with my mouth opened wide and after a second or two I had to lean on the wall for support. When Sam finally pulled away from Maddie she looked surprised.

“I bet your boyfriend can’t make you feel the way I just made you feel.” He flicked her forehead and walked towards the cafeteria. “Hurry up and like me Goldie Locks.”

Maddie fainted as soon as Sam was out of view. I had to drag her to the nurse’s office where she was a frequent visitor. “Oh hi Jaci. What may I ask is wrong with Maddie this time?”

She walked over to us and helped me put Maddie on a cot. “Love.” I plopped down at the end of the cot and sighed.

The nurse giggled and checked Maddie over. “She’ll be okay. I’m going on break so wait with her until I get back.” The nurse left with a smile on her face and pep in her step.

I texted Caleb and asked for food and he replied okay. Minutes later Caleb and I were eating lunch at the nurse’s desk. “What happened to Maddie this time?”
