Old school romance

Sawyer PoV:
Rewind to when they come back from the trip

I was so excited to see Logan and Lydia. Hey, I miss my friends ok?
I remember what happened between Davis and Emma, guess he really does love Lydia.
Stupid Emma!
I couldn't wait to tell her that Davis has feelings for her, and that maybe it was time for her to get over Jude. Aah, at least I am seeing her tomorrow!
That's when someone knocked on the door.
I went down to open it, it was my parents.
"Hmm, you're back" I said, nodding, crossing my hands and watching them put their stuff away.
"Hmm yes we are"
My dad said, crossing his hands and imitating me.
"What'd you do?" I asked, hoping they'd just wave it off since I wasn't actually interested.
"Actually! We think it's time for you and everyone to make up with someone!"
"Who?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Emma, they are our close family friends and it really is time" my mom said, looking at me.
"Mom.. You don't know what she's done to us" I said, sighing.
"I know, but you have to try" mom said.
"I don't know! And it's not like I can go up to her and be like "oh hey Emma, i know you're mortal enemies with my best friend but my mom wants us to make up so do you want to come over and bake cookies together?"", I said sarcastically.
My mom just rolled her
eyes.
"I'm sure you'll find a better way to do that" she said.
I snorted and went up to my room.
Later in the night, someone threw a stone at my window.
Serial killer.
I took a water gun and slowly opened the window and in 3,2,1...
SPLASHHHHH
"Aaah!" Screamed the serial killer.
Wait, that doesn't sound like a serial killer.
"Oh it's Logan!" I said, looking at him.
"Ya, hey, what's wrong with you?" He said looking up and wiping the water from his face.
I stifled a laugh.
"How was your trip?" I asked, leaning on the window ledge.
"Good until I came back and my girlfriend splashed water on me"
"Oh shutup you little baby, I thought you were a serial killer" I rolled my eyes.
"Thanks" he said.
"Anyways, who throws stones anymore? Ever heard of cell phones?"
"Can you kill a guy for trying to be romantic?"
"No, but I can kill a guy for throwing stones at my house late in the night" I said and laughed.
"Yeah yeah"
"Ok come up, my parents will hear you otherwise" I said.
"No, I have to go back home, climb down" he said.
I took balance of the window ledge and placed my foot on the protruding part of the house. I put my other leg, below that, on a crack. I climbed until I couldn't find a spot to keep my legs, I started shaking cause I was scared and suddenly someone pulled me down. JERK! I screamed.
"Shh, it's me" Logan said turning me around and putting a finger to my lips.
"I missed you so much stupid" I laughed and placed my lips to his.

Next day

Lydia's pov:
I came to school the next day, ready to meet my best friend again. Davis had messaged me saying that Jude hadn't told her anything and that sawyer and Logan were going strong.
"Hey" I said to sawyer at her locker.
She instantly hugged me.
"Where have you been?" She asked.
"No where" I said, leaning against the locker next to hers.
"I missed you so much! Oh god I have to tell you something" she exclaimed.
"Oh, what?" I asked.
Then the bell rang.
Ugh.
"Second period, we have a free period" I said.
"Ugh" she said.
"First time some one has been unhappy about a free period" I laughed and walked away.

Little later

"So what did you have to tell me?" I asked sawyer, sitting next to her in class.
"Oh ok, so Jude, has a new lover!" She said.
"I know" I shrugged.
"And you're ok, do you need an ice cream, sleepover, Zac Efron night?" She asked.
"Yes, I'm fine, Davis already told me" I laughed.
"Oh" she said, grinning.
"Which brings me to the next part" she said.
"You guys should get together"
"What?" I asked.
"He likes you, you like him, don't be stupid, don't let Emma snatch him away" she said.
"Oh right about Emma, my mom wants us to fix things"
"Yeah you do that" she said.
"I don't want to" I said.
"I know, but more importantly, Davis?"
"Ok maybe I'll see what I can do" I said,smiling.
"Yay!" She said smiling and clapping her hands till the teacher glared at her.
We laughed.

At the end of the day, I walked out of school and found Jude.
"Hey stranger" I said.
"Hi Lyd" he smiled.
"I miss you, you know, I don't hate you"
"Well you don't trust me" he said, probably talking about the sawyer thing.
"I thought you would use it against me" I looked down.
"I would never, you were amazing, I was horrible, I'm sorry. Besides, I might have found someone else" he said.
"I know" I shrugged.
He smiled back.
"But I think I'll focus on my writing career for a while" he said.
"That's so great for you!" I smiled, I had read some of what he has written. He was so talented.
"Thanks Lyd, so we good"
"We're good" I smiled and waved him goodbye.
