Emma not Jenny

Peytons pov:

"Why would you that?" Taylor screamed, holding onto her bruised cheek.

"I'm sorry, oh my god I'm so sorry!" I said looking at the cheek.

"Umm maybe we should go" jake said.

"No stay um- you should talk to Haley" I said.

"She's going to be so angry! I've done this before but that was to irritate quinny, I have real feelings for jake, I swear" Taylor said.

"I believe you" I said, looking down at their entwined hands.

I wasn't jealous, I didn't love jake anymore but Haley was so angry before and I just don't want there to be another, 'sister fight'.

"You guys should talk to Haley" I said.

"We were going over there now, bye" jake said, waving and walking away.

"wait!" I yelled as they were about to get in the car and they looked at me.

"Hide the knives" I said, smiling.

They smiled back and drove away.

Haleys pov:

It's been 15 minutes and me, jake and Taylor have been siting in silence. I know she has changed and I'm not angry.

"Thanks for understanding" Taylor said and looked at me, great fully.

"Ofcourse" I said, returning the smile.

I picked up my phone and checked the messages. (A/N- ok so Haleys texts will be in italics while Lydia's will be just bold)

Mom, do you know someone called jake Jagielski?

It was from Lydia.

Yeah, why?

He has a daughter right?

Yeah, jenny

No, Emma

What?

He has a daughter named Emma?

"Jake do you have a daughter?!" I asked.

"Yeah, jenny" he said, clearly hiding something.

"Who's Emma, Jake?"

"She's our daughter" Taylor said softly.

I took a deep breath in and said,

"Get out"

"Haley please, just listen"

"I said, get out!"

They got up and left. damn, why wouldn't she tell me, why would she do this?

My phone rang and I picked it up, it was Brooke.

"Haley come to the hospital, now!"

"Why, what happened?" I asked, worried.

"It's Lydia, there was an accident, she was on her phone while driving. it's bad Haley, really bad."

I dropped the phone.
