Best friend

Sawyers pov:
I felt a sense of belonging when she suggested a tour. But the idea was preposterous, obviously. Ooh look at me using big words.
I mean, I'm only 17 and I'm in high school! I can't even play that well.
"Sawyer" Alex said, interrupting my thoughts.
"Yeah?" I asked, only half paying attention.
"Go think about it, it won't be that soon anyways"
"Ok" I said, sighing and getting up. I walked to the door and she said,
"And patch things up with Lydia, boys aren't worth fighting over"
I gave her a small smile and walked away.

Lydias pov:
We broke up. The words still setting in, I called sawyer but she didn't pick up. Obviously, she was still angry, I have to explain, I can't believe she didn't trust me either.

I lay down and didn't let the tears out.

All of a sudden, someone appeared at my door.
I shot up and saw sawyer!

She was leaning on the door and said,

"There's still a lot of explaining to do and a lot of stuff to sort out but... are you okay?"

I let the tears out finally. My voice was hoarse and I said, "no, I'm not okay"

She came and hugged me.

"What am I gonna do?" I asked, still hugging her.

"We are going to hear a lot of music and see pictures of Zac Efron"

I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"And other than that?"

"We are going to watch movies, take selfies, send annoying messages, put make up and of course, the party tomorrow"

"I don't know"

"You have to" she said, looking at me sternly.

"You're right"

"I know" she said and smiled. I sighed and she added,
"Plus we can dress you up and make you pretty, I mean, uh, prettier so jude will be jealous"

"He'll be there?"

"I'll make sure he will"

I guess I should be happy about that, but I really don't know how to feel about it.

"Thanks, best friend" I said, it was kind of our thing.

"Anytime, best friend."
