Safe and sound

Ok so this chapter is before Haley got the phone call. it's from Lydia's perspective.

Lydia's pov:

Jake has a daughter named Emma, who's jenny?

I said replying to my moms text message.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I picked it up.

It was Jude.

I was driving but I decided to talk to him anyway.

"Hey" Jude said

(J is Jude and L is Lydia)

L- "hey whatsup?"

J- "Will you go out with me?"

L- "umm.." is all I said, I liked Jude and Davis. so confusing.

I was caught up thinking and hearing Jude say, "you there?" and "I'm kinda still on the phone you know"

I couldn't think before I looked in front to see a large car and in the blink of an eye, it crashed into mine. I felt throbbing pain in my right leg and everything went black.

Ok so we're back to Haley

Haleys pov:

I ran into the hospital.

"Excuse me?" I asked a nurse.

"How may I help you?" she asked ,worried.

"My daughter, Lydia Scott, she's been in an accident"

"Come with me" she said.

She walked me to the waiting room where I found Brooke.

"Is she ok?" I asked, almost crying.

"She's fine" Brooke said, hugging me.

I walked into the patient room and the doctor told me that Lydia was fine and just had a fracture which would require therapy for a few weeks.

Lydia woke up and I sat next to her.

"I'm confiscating your phone" I said, still crying.

"And I'm driving you everywhere" Nathan's voice entered the room.

Lydia laughed.

Jude entered and we left the room.

Lydia's pov:

"Look it's fine, you don't have to go out with me, don't go banging into cars" Jude said in a joking manner.

"I'd love to go out you"

"We were going to double date with Jude and Emma"

The sinking feeling wasn't there anymore.
