Chapter 23

-S. Coups pov-

"Take a sit", an old man ask Eun Bi and her friend to take a sit. 'Is that true? Is the baby is Eun Bi's? How should I react if the baby is hers? But, why Shownu hyung doesn't told me anything? I have to hear what they going to say', I try to hear what they talking about. "Can I take your order sir?", a waitress put a menu in front of me. "Erm, set A please", I point the set to her.
"Can I ask you something?", the same waitress stand in front of me after taking order. "Are you Seventeen leader? S. Coup?", the waitress whisper as she doesn't want anyone know about my presence. I just nod to her but, decide to leave when suddenly Eun Bi turn her face, trying to look at me.

-Eun Bi pov-

"Are you Seventeen leader? S. Coups?", I hear the waitress talk to someone. 'What? S. Coups? Is it the same Coups oppa?' I try to face the person, but he already left. 'Its not him. OMG, I want to meet with him, but, it will be really awkward to see him right now', I sigh without realizing every one was looking at me. "Is it something wrong?", Mrs. Park pat my shoulder. "Its nothing", I fake a smile to them.

After the dinner, I return to the hospital as I left a document in my room. "Dr. Choi, what are you doing here? Is there any problem?", the head nurse ask me when I bump with her. "Nothing, I just forget to take document", I smile to her. "Dr., you work to hard. You should take a rest ", she pat my shoulder before leaving me.

-the next morning-

I'm making my round when suddenly I got a call. I rush to the locker room and changed my outfit. I rush to the operation room and prepare for the surgery. The surgery when smoothly when suddenly the patient in cardiac arrest. I try all the things that I can do to save him. But, "The time of the death is 4.50 p.m.", Irene announce the time and pat my shoulder. This is my first time having a table death. I feel really shock and walk weakly to the door. "I'm sorry, I do my best to save him", I bow to the patient's wife. I walk weakly to my room and take a sit. "Eun Bi, are you okay? You already done your best to save him", Irene come to comfort me. She's really a good friend.

"Your shift already done right? You don't have any surgery more, why don't you go home. At least there's someone to comfort you", Irene help me with my things. During the drive, I turn the radio on and hear one of Btob songs, 'Its okay'. The song really help me to calm down.

"Oppa, I'm home", I turn on the light in the living room. "Where are they?", I walk straight to my room and take a shower. I walk to the backyard and sit on a swing. I lost my appetite after the surgery, and decide not to take dinner. "Where's oppa? He usually left me a text if he have something to do", I keep scrolling my phone. Suddenly, I feel something cold on my cheeks.

"I should save him. What will happen to his wife after this? And the baby? How did the baby will grow without the father's love!!", I burst into tears and pull my knees to my chest. I buried my head on my knees. I sit like that for 5 minutes and still crying when suddenly someone hug me from my side. "Its okay. Just spill it out", he said while patting my back. 'The voice. The voice I miss all the time'. I turn to see the owner of the voice. "Oppa!", I hug him tightly and cry on his shoulder.

He wipes my tears with his thumb. "You looks so pale. Do you take your dinner yet?", he ask me with a worry tone. Before I can answer him, my surrounding become black.

-His pov-

I can hear her tears from outside the house. So, I decide to take a look. "Its okay. Just spill it out", that's the only words that I can say to comfort her. She hug me tightly and soon after that, she lost conscious. I slap her face gently but she still doesn't wake up. I pick her bridal style and put her on a couch in the living room.

I wipe her face with a wet cloth when suddenly someone tap my shoulder, "What are you doing here?", his voice sound like a warning. "Hyung, it's me. I come to take the things that you ask me to take, but I hear she's crying", I explain to him every things. "Can you please put her upstairs", he rush to the kitchen.
After putting her on the bed, Shownu Hyung enter the room with a glass of water and a bowl of porridge. He gently put some balm under Eun Bi's nose. "Oppa, my head spin", she looks so pale. "I know. You skip dinner again, right? I know you lost one of your patient today, Irene inform me. That's why I'm rushing home. But, I guess you doesn't need me", Shownu Hyung smile to me. "Coups, feed her the porridge", he pat my shoulder before leaving both of us.

-Eun Bi pov-

I really miss him. His smile, his laugh, I miss everything about him. "Coups oppa", I call him weakly. He sit beside me and smile. "I really miss you", and I burst into tears. "Me too. I also miss you", he wipe my tears. "Eat first, okay. You need energy for us to catch up everything that we miss", he smile and feed me the porridge. I only manage to finish half of it. "Rest first, okay. I will come again tomorrow night", he kiss my forehead. I hold his wrist asking him not to leave, "I will come again tomorrow. I promise. You need to rest, okay", he smile again. I nod and five minutes later, I already enter the dreamland.

-S. Coups pov-

"Hyung, she's sleep already. BTW, Hyung, can I ask you a question?", I sit at the counter. "Sure, coffee?", he ask me while take out two instant coffee. "Sure". "What is it?", he put the coffee in front of me. "About Eun Bi. Why she doesn't told me everything when she arrive in Korea. And, who is the man that I saw with her last night? I mean at a restaurant. Did you know anything about it?", I take a sip of the coffee. "Owh, about her arriving, I think she doesn't want to tell you as she wants to think carefully about your relationship. Or it can be that she thought you already have someone else. And about the man, I really doesn't know anything".

After finishing the coffee, I drive back to Seventeen's apartment.

-two weeks later-

For the past two weeks, I keep seeing Eun Bi at her house. Our relationship become a bit awkward at first, but after a few days it's back to normal, just how we first become friend. Whenever I ask about our relationship, Eun Bi will avoid those questions. I think she scared that it will disturb my career.

-Eun Bi's birthday-

Tonight is Eun Bi's birthday party. All the members are invited to the party. I arrived along with the others members. Most of the guest already arrived at Eun Bi's house. I search for Eun Bi to tell her something that really important for our future. Suddenly, I saw Eun Bi holding the same baby that I saw at the restaurant, talking to a man. "Come to daddy", the man said and take the baby from Eun Bi.

That's it, I need to ask her about that man. I slowly approach her when suddenly someone calling me.
