"Hello, glitter breeze."
I woke up with a start, sweat trickled down my forehead and fell onto my pillow.
Whisked away from the golden sunshine, I was back in my simple, tidy room.
I groaned as I turned over on my mattress, restless.
That dream again... Why do I keep dreaming about Rascal???
And more importantly...
Why has he stopped coming to see me?
I lay in my bed, trying to drift back to sleep.
Ugh, my room is too hot. Maybe now is a good time to open the window
I sleepily stumbled through my dark room, trying to reach the window BEFORE I was roasted alive.
Finally, after a lot of blind groping in the dark, i found the window sill.
A cool, nighttime breeze rushed across the room, cooling my hot face and neck.
Mmm, that's better, alright, I got to get more- What was that!?!
A shadow flew across the round moon, so fast, I almost missed it.
Heheh, It's nothing, you're just working yourself up for nothing...
A rustling sound came from the trees near my window.
I was fully awake now.
"H-Hello?"
An owl hooted further away.
"Wh-Who's there???"
My heart pounded wildly inside my chest, and sweat rolled off my forehead, amidst the cool nighttime air.
Silence.
See Chloe? You're just working yourself up for n-
"Chloe? Is that you?"
I recognized the voice almost immediately,
It was the voice of a friend-
The voice of a loved one.
It's Rascal's voice.
Has Rascal come back?
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my VERY small chapter :/
this is small, for me at least.
Anyway, I'm REALLY tired right now.
