~ Part 8: The Accident

Setting:Sapphire's House

Sapphire's POV

"What do you want Chris?" I said picking up my phone to stop it from ringing.

I didn't want to talk to him but he has been calling me since the photoshoot last week. I was kinda mad about him saying we were just friends.

"Dang, I just wanted to talk to you.Calm down." he said.

"Well what do you want to talk about?' I asked annoyed with him already.

"Are you busy?" he asked.

"Nope." I said sitting down on my bed.

"Come to this party with me." he said.

"I'm not really in the mood. I have been working all week." I said.

"Well you can take this time to relieve some stress." he said trying to talk me into going.

"I can relieve stress much better at home." I said

"Please come with me." he said.

"Fine. Ok I'll go." I said

"Yes! I'll be by to pick you up at 7." he said hanging up.

I looked at the clock next to my bed and seen that I only had a hour and a half to get dressed.

I went into the bathroom and showered. When I got out I looked through my closet for some clothes. I picked a short red dress and some silver sparkly heels. I looked hot. I then did my hair into curls and applied my makeup.

I looked amazing. I already know Chris is gonna be drooling.

I looked at the clock to see that it was 6:50.

I grabbed a silver jacket to go over my dress and then my clutch.

I then walked downstairs to wait for him.

Were the hell is this nigga at? He was suppose to be here an hour ago. It's now 8:00.

I was tired of waiting so I decided to go upstairs to change.

I'm halfway up the stairs and when I hear a knock on the door. I walked back downstairs to open the door and seen a police officer.

"Yes officer?" I asked.

What could this police officer want?

"Do you know Chris Brown?" he asked.

"Yes, We are friends. What's wrong? Did something happen?" I asked.

"Chris Brown got into a car accident." he said.

"Is he ok?" I asked through tears.

"He broke his leg and his arm.Come with me to see him." the officer said.

I nodded my head and followed the police officer to his car.

"Chris what happened?" I asked as soon as I saw him.

He sat up in the hospital bed.

"Sapphire this is my mother Joyce." he said pointing at his mom.

"Hello." I said.

"Hello. Sorry we had to meet me like this. I've heard a lot about you. Chris won't stop talking about you." she said.

I blushed. "Well we are close friends." I said touching his hand.

"I was coming to pick you up when a truck ran the red light. That's all I remember." he said.

"What happened to the person in the truck?" I asked.

"They died." he said looking down.

A tear came out of his eye and I wiped it.

"It's not your fault." I whispered to him and then kissed his cheek.
