Part 18: Shop Till Ya Drop (Literally)

Sapphire's POV

"Hurry up and sign them papers!" Stacie said.

"Calm down damn." I said taking the papers from the doctor.

I was about to be released from the hospital and Stacie was rushing me for some reason.

I signed the papers and handed them back over to the doctor.

"Come on!" she said grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the hospital.

Now I know for sure somethings wrong.

"Why are you acting like this?" I asked her once we got into the car.

"Oh nothing girl I just want to hurry up and get to the mall." she said.

I could tell she was lying but I just shrugged it off.

"ooo look at that dress!" Stacie said pointing at a red and black dress.

We have been walking around the mall forever , Stacie has been running into every store , and she does this everytime we come to the mall but this time it's like she's stalling for something.

"You should try on this dress." Stacie said picking up a blue one.

"No thank you. I don't like that dress." I said.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because I don't like it when the back is out and it's really short." I said.

I then started to feel dizzy and fell to the ground.

"Sapphire are you ok?" Stacie asked bending down to help me up.

I was too busy worrying about Stacie I forgot to eat and now I'm starving.

"I'm just really hungry." I said.

"Sapphire! You have a child now you can't just not eat." she said grabbing my arm.

"Well you're the one having me run all over the place." I said.

"Come on let's go to the food court." she said.

"Oh my god this tastes so good." I said swallowing the hamburger.

"Dang Sapph take a breather." Stacie said laughing.

"I haven't eaten in like 7 hours." I said.

Yes we have been here for 7 hours.

Stacie's phone started to ring.

"Hold on I got to get this." she said getting up from the table and walking away.

I wonder why she walked away.

I just continued eating my food until she came back.

"Are you done?" she asked.

"Yes." I said.

"Ok I'm ready to go now." she said.

"Finally!" I said standing up and throwing my trash away.

We then headed towards the front of the mall.

"Stacie where are we going?" I asked.

We were no where near my house.

"I'm taking a short cut to get to your house." she said.

"Okay." I said not believing her.

After a couple of minutes we stopped in front of a huge house.

"Who's house is this?" I asked.

"Yours." she said holding up a key.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yes I am. Someone's waiting for you inside." she said.

I grabbed the key and opened the car door.

I ran up to the front door and stuck the key in the hole.

When I opened the door I seen Chris standing by the stairs with roses in his hands.

I gasped.
