Part 26: Wrong choice.

Chris' POV

After I put it down after dinner Sapphire fell right to sleep.

I then received a call on my phone.

I reached over and answered it.

(Phone convo)

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey Chris it's me." Stacie said.

"Oh what's up Stac." I said.

"I have to tell you something about Drake and Sapphire." She said.

"What about them?!" I said hopping off the bed.

"Well they plan on going to dinner." She said.

"What? Why?" I said.

"I don't know but he's trying to take her away from you." She said.

"There's no way in hell he's taking her away from me. She's carrying my baby. What time and what place?" I said.

"I don't know but you better keep an eye out for her." She said.

I nodded my head like she could see me. "I definitely will." I said hanging up.

"Chris? Who was that?" Sapphire ask sitting up from the bed.

"Nobody baby." I said kissing her on the lips.

Sapphire's POV

While I was getting ready to go to dinner Chris was staring at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"I'm going in for work. My boss wants me to work late" I lied.

I was getting use to lying which is a very bad thing. The lies just rolled off my tongue.

"Mmm" he said like he didn't believe me.

I just shrugged it off and continue to get dressed.

Almost 5 minutes later I received a text from Drake saying he was outside.

I grabbed my purse.

"Bye baby." I said kissing him on the lips while he was sitting on the bed.

He didn't kiss back.

I just have him a glare and walked off.

If only I knew that this was gonna be the worst night of my life.
