Setting: The Club

Sapphire's POV

I was surprised to see my old friend Payton when I turned around.

"You remember me?" he asked.

"How could I forget you?" I said hugging him.

"I don't know. I was the best friend you ever had." he said.

"Not anymore. That position has been filled." I said pointing at Stacie who was dancing all up on a random guy.

"Aww." he said pretending to cry.

I laughed. "Anyways where have you been for the last 5 years." I said hitting his arm playfully.

"Let's go talk in private." he said making me remember we were on the dance floor.

I nodded my head and we walked off to a private room.

I have known him since I was 17 so I wasn't worried about being alone with him.

When we got in the room we sat on the long couch that was in there.

"So where have you been for the last couple of years?" I asked again.

"Hold up girl. Lets get something to drink." he said pouring us a glass of ciroc that was on the table.

"Ok but you better answer my question." I said.

He chuckled. "I will damn." he said.

He handed me the glass. I took a small sip.

"For the last 5 years I have been in the army." he said.

"You didn't tell me you were joining the army!" I said.

"Yeah I joined pretty fast." he said.

"Ok." I said.

"What have you been up to for the last 5 years?" he asked.

"Well I'm working at Vibe but I'm gonna quit soon." I said.

"Why?" he asked.

"It's not what I really want to do. I want to open my own shop." I said.

"That sounds good. When do you think you would be able to get your own shop." he said.

I started feeling really dizzy. It was like my head was spinning.

"Sapphire are you ok?" he asked.

"No I feel really dizzy." I said.

"How about I take you home." he said.

"Yeah you should take me home." I said getting up.

We hurried out of the room and headed towards the door.

But before I could reach the entrance of the club I passed out.

I don't know why or how but I passed out in the center of the club.
