Improv. To me, it is one of the hardest types of dance, when you are first starting out doing improv, it's normal to feel kind of awkward , and to not put yourself out there. But that is the ting about improv. No one can or should be able to tell you what to do, it is like the inner dancer is able to come out and show what the song really means in your heart. No two people's impov is the same..

And.... tell mirror is not your friend in improv, we look in the mirror to make corrections. And sometimes we start following others. We can NOT let that happen in improv.

You need to find how your body wants to move to the music!!!
