Wow... I haven't updated since like August... whoops... but I wanted to tell you all about my journey with pointe!
I have been doing pointe for almost 7 years now! And let me tell you, it has been a kind of a rough time!
My first year of pointe, I got put into the Bloch Aspiration shoes. They definitely are a beginners shoe, and they definitely did not work for me! I couldn't even get on the box. But I had those shoes for two years...
The next shoe that I had were the Bloch eurostretch. This shoe has the split sole, and you couldn't help to break them in with your hands, those shoes still were not working for me, and I needed another change.
The next shoe that I tried were Russian Pointes, (don't remember what type) the box was super tapered, and I actually liked these shoes for some time, and were in them for two years. But all in all, they still weren't giving me what I really needed in a shoe.
The next shoe that I got were the Grishko 2007 shoes. Let me tell you guys, Grishko shoes are a BEAST to break in. But they are AMAZING for balance. I loved these shoes, but it was still kind of hard to get over my box.
The shoe that I have now, and the shoe that is my ride or die, are the Grishko 2007 Pro- flex! These shoes are still a beast to break in, but it is very easy to balance and stay on/ over your box.
If you have trouble with staying on the box of the shoe I recommend the Pro- Flex! I will list the cost of all of these shoes down below! I hope this has helped you guys! Let me know in the comments what pointe shoes you wear! Keep dancing!
