Demons

It has been a couple of hours since we last saw each other.
And once you left,
My demon wanted to come out to play.

They sat me down and decided to talk to me about the stuff we talked about together,
And my demon was not pleased to being treated like a 5 year old.

After they were done talking to me,
The demons came out to give me bs about the whole thing.
They were whispering to me about sneaking out of the house.

They were wanting me to wait till the right moment to pop some pills in my mouth and end it all.
They were wanting me to cut my skin open and bleed to death.

And they are still tempting me to do all of these things...
They want me to end my life,
They want me to run away to your house for the night.

They don't care if they make me hurt you or anyone else for that matter.
They know I'm angry for getting you into trouble.

They know everything I'm thinking about,
They know what I'm feeling,
They know what I'm doing,
They know everything,
And they know they can get me to jump and end it all...

Sadly,
I'm about ready to jump,
I'm about ready to end it all,
I'm about ready to say, "screw life, I don't need to be here..."

But I won't listen to them,
I won't give in to their evil ways,
I won't jump,
I won't do any of their bloody work,
For you.

You keep me from jumping,
You keep me from ending my life,
You keep me from harm,
You keep me from doing their evil bidding because I know you wouldn't be happy...

You wouldn't be happy if I were to disappear without you knowing.
You wouldn't be happy if I disappeared for good.
You never would be happy again...

My demons finally left me alone,
They saw I was strong,
They saw I wouldn't give in,
They saw I would never give in because of you in my soul.
