Dark thoughts

Alone...
Why does that word put pain inside of my heart?
Alone...
What is the point of this word anyway?
Alone...

I'm alone when I'm with friends.
I'm alone when I'm with family.
I'm alone when I'm with a big crowd of people.
I'm alone when I can't be by you.
I'm alone when I see you leave my side.......

When I'm alone, I become someone else.
I become a different person when I'm not with you.
I become sad because I can't follow you.
I become sad because you can't spend most of you free time talking to me.

I know you have your life,
And I have mine,
But life becomes harder when I'm not with you.
I can't focus on anything but you.
You're everything that I need in life.
You're everything that I want in life.
You're everything that I desire most.

When I don't see you in the morning,
I feel like you're gone from my life.
I feel like I did something to hurt you.
I feel like I let you down somehow.
Then I remember that you said you would be there later in the day, or waiting for me by the door.

At night, I picture you and I having the time of our lives.
Then other thoughts attack my brain like a grenade.
Is he going to end us without me knowing beforehand?
Am I going to be the last one to find out if he disappeared?
Will I be broken when he says goodbye to us?
Will he still love me tomorrow?

Will you still love me tomorrow?
Will you still love me after I leave for the summer?
Will you still love me if I stay with my father for the rest of the summer?
Will you still love me even if we can't talk?
Will you still love me through everything we encounter in life?

These are the thoughts that I can't get rid of.
These are the thoughts that I have every night.
I hate these dark thoughts.
I hate them with a passion.

These are the thoughts that I have when your not around.
These are the thoughts that keep me up at night.
These are my dark thoughts, and you should know them before I go to far and hurt myself.

These are the demons that enslave me every night.
These are the demons I face everyday before I see you.
These are the demons you save me from.

You are the one who chases the demons away.
You are the one who saves me from going into a tail spin.
You are the one who I love to death.
You are the one I want to spend forever with.

And I do want to spend forever with you.
I would do anything you requested for me to do.
I would do anything to make you smile.
I would do anything to make you happy.
