I think I first encountered Glossier through Instagram, and once I noticed it, I realized all the gorgeous, glowy, effortless beauty bloggers were all obsessed and posting about it everywhere. Their minimalist branding, curated list of products, and millennial pink all feel very of the moment.
The brand was started by Emily Weiss, who you may remember as Lauren Conrad's rival Vogue intern in the Hills. After starting a beauty blog (one of my favourites, Into The Gloss), she expanded into creating physical products based on their readers feedback of what they were looking for and couldn't find.
After spending a few years getting friends to smuggle products across the border, Glossier finally started shipping to Canada this month and I made my first (of many, I'm sure) mega haul's. Luckily, their products are extremely affordable, and I'm really pleased with what I purchased.

This is a great natural finish lip tint. The colour is a dark berry, but very sheer and buildable (nowhere near as bold as it appears in the picture above). It's pretty similar to one of my all-time favourite lip products, Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick, but with more of a matte stain finish. I would definitely re-order, and next on my list is the shade Like
Priming Moisturizer

I've used the French-pharmacy-cult-favourite Embryolisse as a priming moisturizer for years and this one is a very good dupe for that but lighter in texture and cheaper in price. I would definitely buy this again and I'm going to get their rich version for winter.
