Chapter 20

"Which outfit?" I huffed at Jaqueyln, me and her weren't on good terms.
She scoffed, "the purple one."
I slipped in my room and got dressed in some skinny jeans, a purple silk blouse, and gold flats.
I smiled at myself in the mirror on my closet door and slid the answer side on my ringing phone, "hey, Jaxass?"
I could tell that he was rolling his eyes, "hey, whatcha doing?"
"Getting ready, how about you?"
"Driving."
"Hmmm, nice."
"I'll be at your house in a minute."
"Ok," I smiled even though he couldn't see me.
"Hey don't get wasted this time."
"What? I was not wasted," I defended myself.
He chuckled, "yes you were, you stuck your tongue out at me."
I smirked, "is that always a bad thing?"
"Emmy bear! I'm driving!"
I laughed, "awe, did you swerve and hit a car?"
"No, I'm not drunk."
"You will be Jaxass."
"I don't drink and drive, I'm not stupid!"
"I guess I'll just have to get Colton to drive me, won't I?"
I knew that his eyes darkened, "don't bring up that bitch like that!"
I fake pouted, "you're no fun!"
"Is that what you think?"
I blushed, "shut up!"
"Dammit!" He yelled.
"What?!" I exclaimed with panic.
"I just got told to shut up!"
I glared at the phone, "stop! You almost gave me a heart attack!"
He laughed, "I'm at your house, Emmy bear."
I rolled my eyes, "I'm coming, Jaxass."
I sprinted down the stairs to find him leaning against the doorframe, "who let you in?"
"Your dad."
"Did he give you the talk?" I asked sarcastically.
"Yea, he told me to 'watch my damn hands'."
I laughed at my dad's overprotectiveness, "sorry about that."
He shrugged, "I don't give a damn."
I rolled my eyes, "do you ever give a damn?"
"No."
"Thought so."
"Come on, I want to finally get there before I start giving a damn."
"Fine," I grumbled.

We walked into a beautiful white mansion with French doors and a circular driveway, "this place is beautiful."
Jax gave a slight nod, "yea, its okay."
"Hey are you alright?"
"I'm fine, I just been here a million times."
I still wasn't convinced but I wasn't gonna make him uncomfortable.
"Hey Em," Nathan grinned, making himself noticable.
"Hey, Nathan."
"What's up bro?"
Nathan grinned at Jax, "nothing much."
"Who else is here?" I questioned curiously.
"Every gang in DC."
"Is that safe?"
"If nothing stirrs up between the gangs its actually safer."
Nathan smiled deviously at some girl with brown French braids, "gotta go, have fun."
Jax and I rolled our eyes.
"Want a drink?"
I smirked, "I don't know, I don't want to get wasted."
"Come on."
"Okay if you insist."

A few drinks later, we were dancing in the living room.
We swayed to the music as I just laughed for no reason at all.
"Your laugh is so cute," he chuckled.
"Thank you," I giggled drunkily.
He rolled his eyes, "I told you not to drink so much."
"I only had three!"
"You had a whole glass of vodka!"
I smirked, "well my lips smell like vodka, so....?"
"You didn't have to get yourself drunk on vodka for me to kiss you."
I blushed.
A beer bottle shattered, "just shut the fuck up!"
Nate' face was blood red and he looked furious.
Chloe pleaded Nate with tears in her eyes, "please don't hurt him?!"
He looked at her with hurt and anger, "you maked out with him! Dammit!"
Zac groaned in pain, "bro, what the hell?!"
"You should've thought about that before you ate Chloe's damn lips off!"
I gulped, "oh hell no."
Jax pushed Nate against the wall and if I'm being honest he looked hot as hell doing it, "grow the fuck up!"
"Really? You're telling me? What about you almost about killing Colton because he layed his lips on 'your girl'!?"
Jax narrowed his brown eyes, "you don't what the hell is going on in my damn life, so just shut the fuck up!"
"Why are you so damn possessive?!"
I growled, "shut the hell up! Nate!"
"You stay out of this fucking mess!" He threatened me.
"Yea that you created!"
That was it for him, he swang his free arm across my jawline; making me fall into Nathan's arms. There was blood pouring from my jaw.
Jax's eyes darkened big time, "what the fuck did you just do?! Don't you ever hit a damn girl! Especially one that's mine!"
"She needs to stay in her own fucking turf!"
"You don't need to start a damn problem that you can't handle!"
Zac was still on the floor, Chloe was crying, Nathan was doing whatever he could to stop the blood, Jax and Nate were in a full on fist fight, and no one else on the dance floor moved a muscle to stop anything.

I was desperately trying to find a bathroom to clean off my jaw but everytime I opened a door I found people making out. Damn, close the door!
When I turned a corner I saw Xavier and I groaned but he was with some girl, I looked closer and realized it was.... MacKenzie?!
A scream escaped my lips; she noticed me and just smirked.
"Get the hell out," she muttered.
And I did, I ran outside to the huge backyard. I was beyond digusted but then one thought kept going through my mind, What about Jaqueyln? I know we aren't on good terms right now but she's still my sister and I won't let that bitch get away with cheating on her.
I was pondering how I was gonna tell her when a blonde boy with midnight blue eyes walked outside, "hey, what are you doing out here?"
I didn't answer and he sat down next to me, "I know you probably think I'm super weird for just coming out here but I saw you run out here and I want to know why because the party is inside."
I looked at him, "there's this boy that I know and he's dating my sister but I just saw him with his ex and they were making out."
"Wow."
I nodded sadly, "yea."
"What's his name?"
"Xavier Parker."
His eyes widened when I said his last name I frowned, "Parker?!"
"Yea."
"Is he related to Jax?"
"Yep, his brother."
"Fuck...." he muttered.
I looked the other way, "he's kinda my boyfriend."
"What?"
"Yea....."
"By the way, I'm Trevor."

Next chapter will be of the party still but some of Jax's point of view (a lot of secrets will be revealed).
