Alec hasn't spoken to anyone for a few days now . It's been strictly work and training . Izzy , Jace hell even clary tried talking to him but he just brushed them off . Finally the team had enough and went to Magnus and see if that could possibly change his mood . As they walked to Magnus in silences they couldn't help but worry about Alec .

Once they got to Magnus loft they buzzed him to see if he was home . First Izzy buzz but when they got no reply Jace took it upon himself to do it again . Clary hit him and warned him to stop but then they heard the sound of Magnus bane . Who do you people think you are waking up the high warlock of Brooklyn. Izzy stepped to the buzzer and said hi Magnus it's Izzy or Isabelle remember Alec's sister . After rubbing his eyes Magnus allowed them to come up .

What can I do for you love and where do tell us your adorable brother . Has something happen to him ? Do you need my help ? Nothing has happened to him and yes we need your help . Magnus just looks at them confused and let Izzy continue on . See Alec returned home a few days ago , even though he wasn't suppose to return until Friday . He came back different though . He doesn't talk much , all he does is work and train he doesn't even eat correctly . Magnus looked at everyone who confirmed what Izzy was saying . He hasn't texted me Izzy I had no idea he returned , I am not suppose to see him again until Friday . I haven't received a text either . Now Magnus was worried too .

Magnus got dressed after talking to all of them for a few more minutes and made a portal for them to head back to the Institute. Once Magnus stepped through he went straight to finding Alec he needed to know if he was all right . He searched the training room first and then his office but he wasn't in either places . So Magnus asked Izzy where could he be and she could only reply with either the roof top or library . Magnus searched the library and found nothing so he went to the roof and that's were he found him shooting arrows at the sky .

Magnus leaned back and watched him for a few minutes before he looked down and seen his hand was bleeding . Magnus got to him and touched his shoulder Alec had felt Magnus there but he couldn't bring himself to turn around he just felt so lost . How could he let a demon get that close to almost killing him . He just kept shooting , he didn't know what else to do and he honestly didn't know what to say .

Magnus made him stop and put he put his hand on Alec's to bring his bow and arrow down. Alec dropped them on the floor while Magnus took his hands and kissed them . Blue sparks came out and started healing him . Magnus looked up and asked him " are you okay my love " Alec looked at Magnus with tears in his eye but said nothing . Magnus grabbed Alec's face so he was looking at him again because Alec's eyes fluttered closed and kissed him . He kissed him with all the love he could muster up .

Alec's breath was blown away , that was an amazing kiss . He open his eyes and looked at Magnus again . Magnus spoke again , are you okay what has you so upset ? You didn't call me when you returned ? Did I do something to upset you did the clave do something to upset you ? Alec looked into Magnus eyes and knew he couldn't like to him . After taking in a deep breath he replied . I am okay now thank you and I'm just so lost Magnus i almost let a demon kill me . I wasn't strong enough or fast enough . So I decided to come home early and train maybe fix where I went wrong . Magnus just looked at him for a moment. . Oh darling I promise you that everything about you is perfect . You are the definition of perfect . Alex smiled his first real smile in days .

Magnus came up with and idea while looking for Alec . Alec how about we take a small vacation together . Just me and you for a few days we can go to Tokyo or even Paris any where you like and I'll portal us there. Alec thought about it for a moment and he couldn't help but to agree . A small vacation with this beautiful man is exactly what he needed and this would give him more time to truly learn more about him . Alec was super excited and asked when he wanted to leave and all Magnus said before opening the portal was how about now ?
