On the drive back home, Iris reluctantly let Paul drive. Although, she slipped her credit card to the waitress when they were supposed to pay the bill.

"You sure your family won't suck me dry if I don't bring you home tonight?" Paul asked as he pulled up into the front of his house.

Iris chuckled and smacked his shoulder. "Yes, I'm sure. But if I come home in the morning smelling like sex, then I can't guarantee anything."

The two got out of the car. Paul walked right into his house and held the door open for Iris. She thanked him and made a beeline for his couch.

"Do you guys ever lock your doors? Sam doesn't lock the doors either."

Paul shrugged. "Leeches aren't allowed here, and I'm pretty sure us big boys can handle humans who break in."

"Fair point." Iris patted the empty space next to her. "Come sit next to me. I'm cold."

Paul rolled his eyes. "I'm beginning to think that even if our date went wrong, you'd still keep me around for warmth."

She smiled at him innocently as she wrapped her arms around his torso. "I don't know what you're talking about.

He huffed and lightly hit her head. "One day, you're going to get spanked."

Iris pouted. "That's mean."

Within a whole day, the two had learn facts about each other to the point where if someone asked questions about the other person, they'd know how to answer.

They knew their favorite color, current favorite food, favorite number, favorite member of the pack, where they were born, and much more.

But one thing Paul still didn't know about Iris was her past. He didn't how she became a vampire, but he didn't want to push his luck. He decided that it was best if he left it for another day.
