i stood next to mary in the audience of the television show as the boys stood talking with the show manager and paul. i eye paul carefully and lean towards mary.

"surely i can't be the only one who isn't entirely sure about that guy?"

i feel arms wrap around my shoulders from behind and i feel a head place itself on top of mine letting out a huff.

"i swear, lipsyncing? pretending to play? i know what i'm bloody doing."

i smile softly and turn around wrapping my arms around rogers torso.

"well, at least you know it's impossible to mess up."

he chuckles and leans down to whisper in my ear.

"also, that paul guy? he's...off, yeah?"

i look up at him and smile.

"she just said the same thing. and honestly, he seems alright to me, but honey's never been wrong before."

"no she has not." he smiles down at me.

"roger if you're done flirting with my sister you're needed up here." john yells from the stage.

roger rolls his eyes and places a soft kiss on the side of my head.

"catch you in a bit, love."

"try to look happy yeah?" i chuckle.

he rolls his eyes at me and sits on the stool, adjusting his symbols slightly. mary and i loop our arms into eachothers, smiling at our boys up on the stage.

"so, when do you think roger will curry it up to at least admit his feelings?"

i turn and smirk at her.

"in all honesty, i think he just may do it tonight." she says staring at freddie.

"tonight?"

"tonight." she smirks at me.

mary and i stood outside, waiting for the boys to walk out of the tv set. her words still lingering in my head.

"why do you think tonight?"

"i just think your brother is getting just about fed up with the two of you. in all honesty, everyone is. and if he doesn't do anything about it, john may actually lock you up in a cupboard like he said he would."

mary and i laugh, leaning up against the car.

"excuse me?" mary and i turn around to see two men on the other side of my car.

"could we help you?" mary asks.

"we just wanted to know if you two beautiful women would like to go out for a drink sometime?" the taller blonde one asks.
