1st prompt for John

"I just love how we met. It was so romantic."

"Oh yes. I too have fond memories of you throwing me off a bridge."

You and John Deacon were an odd couple. Nobody expected you to work. You were a loud and outgoing person while John was quiet and kept to himself. Somehow, it made you perfect for each other.

Everything you did together was different than what other couples did. You always wanted to make sure John felt comfortable. You could tell when John was uneasy. So you always did what he felt ok with and that was fine with you.

Today was a bit different though. John was being loud. He was looking for a few photo albums to go through with you. You kept all of them up in the attic. Every couple of minutes, John would say something and you could almost hear all of it. You thought it was hilarious.

You heard a loud bang and then John yelled, "Son of a-" he stopped before he could finish that. He was never really one to curse.

"What's wrong?"

"I hit my foot." He muttered.

You laughed. He was really having a hard time finding those photo albums. You decided to help. You climbed the ladder up to the attic and found John on the floor looking at a picture. "What're you looking at?"

"A picture of us on our wedding day."

You smiled and came to sit down next to him. He showed you the picture and picked up the album that was on the other side of him. "I found it." He said with pride. You laughed and took it from him.

As you opened it, you couldn't help but to smile at the first picture. It was you and John on the day that you met. The paparazzi had taken the picture when you both weren't looking and you had saved it from the newspaper.

"I just love how we met. It was so romantic." You mumbled.

John turned to you with a sarcastic look, "Oh yes. I too have fond memories of you throwing me off a bridge."

You scoffed. "I did not." John raised his eyebrows. "I'm pretty sure you did, love."

"You must not remember it well because I know that I didn't throw you off a bride, Deaky."

"Please, enlighten me then."

———————-5 years before——————

You were walking along a bridge. You were waiting for your friend to show up because you both were supposed to hang out. After an hour of waiting around, you figured your friend wasn't going to come.

You turned around fast and ran straight into somebody. All you could see was that it was a man with shoulder length hair. He fell back and before you could do anything, he stumbled and went straight over the side of the bridge and into the water.

You looked over the side and sighed in relief when you saw the man swim to the surface. You ran to the end of the bridge and to where he was swimming up to.

"Oh my god. Are you ok?"

He didn't reply. He just kept swimming until he finally reached the land. He got out of the water slowly and walked over to you. "I'm fine." He said quietly.

You finally got a good look at the man. He had thin lips and arched eyebrows. His hair was sticking to his face from the water and his eyes were almost completely covered by it until he moved his hand across his forehead.

"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to knock you over the side." You rambled.

"It's ok. Don't worry. It just frightened me a bit."

You sighed and reached your hand out. "I'm Y/N
Y/L/N." He smiled and took your hand. "I'm John Richard Deacon." (You don't understand how tempted I was to use the one quote we're all thinking of)

"What were you doing on the bridge, anyway?" John asked.

"Well, I was waiting for a friend but they never showed up. I guess I wasn't paying attention when I turned around. You're not hurt, are you?"

John smiled down at you. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me." He took a deep breath as if he was deciding on something. "Do you want to go to lunch with me? That's where I was heading but I was all alone and I don't have anyb-"

"I'd love to." You cut him off.

After walking for a while to the restaurant, John turned to you. "I'll look a little ridiculous considering I'm all wet." He grinned.

"You're different." You laughed. "They'll just have to put up with it, John Deacon."

—————————back in the attic———————-

John grumbled at the end of the story. "I guess you didn't throw me off." He muttered.

"I know I didn't." You laughed. "It's still a nice story to tell people about how we met though."

"I suppose."

You smiled at John's stubbornness. You moved so that your arms were wrapped around him. "It doesn't really matter how we met. We're together now and that's all that matters."

"That was cheesy."

"Almost like your toast."

John scoffed. "That was too far." He smiled anyway and wrapped his arms around you. "I love you. Even though the way I remember things sounds way better than you running into me."

"Whatever." You rolled your eyes with a grin and pulled him closer.

A/N- I'm so sorry about the irregular updates. I'm trying but a lot of stuff is happening in my family right now.
