A/N- In this one-shot, you're getting married to John. A dream come true, right? This was requested by lensqu ❤️🥰 love you

John's POV~

"Oh my god." John whispered to himself as he paced back and forth across the room. He was about to marry the love of his life and he was beyond nervous.

Freddie put his hands on John's shoulder. "Calm down." John breathed in deeply. "What if she leaves me? Then what? I need her, Freddie."

"You need to sit down and breathe for a minute." Freddie tried to soothe. "She's not going to leave you at the alter."

John sat down beside Brian on the couch. "I know. I'm just nervous." He mumbled. John put his head back against the couch and tried to calm himself. He closed his eyes and didn't move for a few moments.

Roger walked into the room where the boys were and started talking immediately. "Is he ready yet? Everybody is- oh my god... he died." Roger said when he saw John relaxed on the couch. Freddie and Brian rolled their eyes almost in unison.

"I'm not dead." John muttered with his eyes still closed. "Just terrified."

"What? Of marriage? Come on, Deaky." Roger said.

"Well, you can't seem to be keep anybody. Just how many girls have you slept with, huh? If anybody's scared of marriage, it's you." John shot back.

"Pfffffft." Freddie put his hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter. "Tell him, Deaky." Brian wheezed. Roger looked ready to fight somebody but that day he had enough sense to not mess up the Groom's face.

"What I was trying to say earlier was that everyone is here. It's time to start." Roger said. John stood up slowly. Brian put his hand down on John's shoulder. "Let's go get you married."

John only nodded with a slight smile. Despite how nervous he felt, he was still ecstatic to marry Y/N. He was ready for their new life with each other to begin.

—time skip brought to you by Freddie being John's best man-

John stood at the alter with his groomsmen beside him. Freddie stood right by John, trying to soothe him. Brian kept having to hold back laughs because Roger kept making jokes about people in the crowd.

Freddie nudged Roger with his elbow, hard. "That's John's family, you idiot." Roger raised his eyebrows and took a small step back. "My bad." Brian clutched his sides. His laughing was getting obnoxious.

John sat silently while all of that happened. He tapped his foot in anticipation. He kept his eyes on the floor and thought about his future life with Y/N. His head shot up when the music started all of a sudden.

"Quick! Hug him while he's still a bachelor." Roger hissed. Freddie took Brian, Roger, and John into a big group hug. They all held onto each other tightly. "Thank you for being here, guys." Freddie patted John's back. "Of course we'd be here."

They let go of John and let him turn back to the aisle. He stared at the door until it opened slowly. Out stepped, Y/N. John's eyes widened at the sight of her.

(I'm not sure how anybody's family life is so I'm trying to give options)
Her arm was looped with her [dad's/stepdad's/brother's] arm. She looked up from the ground and her eyes met with John's. She felt herself smile widely. Just at that one smile, John teared up.

No! No! No tears, John Deacon! He thought to himself, but he couldn't help it when one tear went down his cheek. Freddie nudged him and handed him a tissue. "Thanks." John whispered.

He turned back to Y/N. She looked like she was giggling. It must've been because John was crying. She felt elegant as she walked down the aisle. Her dress was absolutely stunning and she had never felt more beautiful.

When Y/N finally made it to the alter, her [dad/stepdad/brother] lifted up her veil and kissed her forehead. He smiled and went to sit down in his seat. John held out his hands for Y/N. She held them tightly and walked up the few steps to the alter.

"You're so beautiful." John whispered.

After being with John for years, he could still make her blush. And blush she did.

"We are gathered here today to-" John and Y/N both drowned out whatever the officiator was saying. They spoke when they were supposed to but only looked into each other's eyes while he talked. It was like they were having their own conversation with each other.

The vows came and went. After Y/N made her vows, everybody could hear a loud sniffle. John turned back to his groomsmen to see Roger wiping tears. Brian was losing it again. He held his hand to his mouth to try and stop laughing at Roger. Freddie sighed and rolled his eyes. He looked over to the officiator. "Continue."

Finally the moment had come. Everybody knew what was about to be said. "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

John then did something completely unexpected. He wrapped Y/N in his arms and dipped her before kissing her passionately for the first time as her husband. They stood up when everybody began to clap.

Roger came up to John and said quietly, "The car is out front and ready for you. Make a run for it." John nodded and kissed Y/N's hand once before letting it go. He took Brian, Roger, and Freddie into one more group hug. "I love you, morons." Roger laughed. All of the boys laughed and individually hugged
Y/N.

"Take care of him. He's crazier than he seems." Freddie told Y/N while they hugged. Y/N chuckled. "I'll keep him in check."

John looped his arm with Y/N's. "Ready?" He whispered. "As soon as we walk out of these doors our new life begins." Y/N looked up to John with a smile. "I'm ready."

John nodded to Freddie. He gave a hand signal to Brian who was already at the doors. Brian opened them and gestured his arm for them to go. John and Y/N ran as fast as they could out the door. They jumped into the car and John drove away.

The newly weds laughed hysterically. "You're crazy!" Y/N yelled. "Crazy for you." John said with a small smirk. Y/N rolled her eyes, playfully.

"I love you, John Richard Deacon."

"I love you more, Y/N Y/M/N Deacon."
