Ziva entered your small office, the eight by nine feet room the same way she entered every room, silently. You didn't notice the Israeli NCIS agent enter, she studied you quietly. Brushing small locks of hair off your forehead, you finally looked up and jumped violently when you saw Ziva. Your knee hit the underside of your desk causing the items to jump. Ziva grinned with a wicked bite hiding in her pearl white teeth. "How can I help you agent David?" She chuckled deeply, "We need your expertise on this case." You looked up at her, lounging back in your chair, titling your head to the side. "My expertise being my profiling skills, or my training mixed with the undercover case that gave me training with assassins." Ziva leaned against the wall, looking lethal as she observed you. You waved your pencil at Ziva, "But you, my dear, have been trained by Mossad and therefore way more deadly than I am." Ziva tilted her head slightly, lips twitching upwards. You stood, "I'll help, who knows how you'll solve the case with out me." Ziva smiled wider at your jest. The pair of you moved towards the elevator as you adjusted the holster on your hip and the badge on your belt.

You ran your fingers through the short bob your hair had been cut into, feeling the strands slip into place. Looking over at the evidence that was set out before you, Ziva entered the room as you began to call Tony. Tony picked up quickly, putting you on speaker so that McGee, Gibbs and Abby could hear the discussion. You spoke once Tony had done his usual greeting of his last name. "The suspect, has everything she needs to erase Benton for good." Tony's eyebrows furrowed, and he spoke before the others could. "What do you mean, 'erase'?" You breathed in, "Eight pounds of lye, heated to three hundred degrees. Body will dissolve in three hours, give or take." There was a slight silence on the other end of the phone. Tony sound slightly scared as he replied. "I will refrain from asking how you know that." His voice was light and kind of teasing, with hints of fear. Ziva's lips twitched upwards at your banter with Tony. You hung up on Tony, and Ziva received her own phone call from one of her contacts. She hung up after a few moments, and texted someone, probably Tony as Gibbs hated texts with the same passion as he hated email. She looked up at you, "You want to get out of here." You looked up at here, she hadn't said anything about the case or the information she had received. "Where are we going?" She pursed her lips, "To do something illegal." You nodded, agreeing readily. "Where are we really going?" Ziva smiled, "back to the NCIS." You sighed.

The case was heading into dangerous territory, you had had one all nighter. You had also had one night where you had slept for four hours each. Now you were on your third night of working the case, after staging a stakeout, Tony and McGee had arrested the suspect. They had refused to give up their cohorts. Gibbs had used his most terrifying interrogation to get them to give up their partners and it had even scared his team, but it hadn't worked on the suspect.

This morning you were leaning against the filing cabinets behind Tony's desk, discussing motives as well as known associates of the suspect. "Good morning, Ducky." You greeted Ducky as he entered with his own profile on the suspect. "Miss/Mr. L/N. What have you been doing?" You grinned wickedly, sharing the smirk with Ziva. "Corrupting Agent DiNozzo..." You had a playful tilt to your tone. Ducky smiled softly at you, "Does he really need any help in that regard?" His accent gave the added zing to the sarcastic remark. You laughed lightly. McGee called and Tony answered he had gone with Gibbs to the computer facility that the suspect had received and email from. Tony looked up at the ceiling, "McGee, are you in?" McGee scoffed, and quipped "Just..." Tony looked over Ziva and glanced at you, before checking the computer that was in front of him for anyone sneaking up of McGee. "Well, you need to move fast." McGee rolled his eyes and quipped, "Thanks for that news flash Tony. Here I was planning to move at a sloth like pace and get myself captured." You pursed your lips and checked the computer yourself checking on Tim's safety, satisfied that he was okay you turned back to the file in your hands.

McGee and Gibbs had come back to NCIS with a bounty of information, which you all had analysed. You had leant against the filing cabinets behind Ziva's desk, reading off information which she typed into the search engine looking for the suspects cohorts. "Find something?" Gibbs asked as he entered the room. "Y/N and I found a possible suspect." Ziva rattled off the information that she had her accent swift and sharp as narrowed her eyes at the piece of paper in front of her. "DiNozzo, Y/N. Go bring them in." You both nodded, placing the earwigs and mics in place before you left before grabbing your guns heading out. Sliding into your assigned car you headed to where your suspect was hiding.

Arriving you and Tony could tell something was wrong, you called Gibbs who arrived with Tony and McGee. "You go in yet?" Ziva asked as she walked up to you. "Headed there now. You got any firearms besides that piece?" You quipped, Ziva gave an almost feral grin filled with wickedness, before opening the trunk of her car. Stepping forwards with Tony, "girl after my own heart." You almost sighed. Ziva gave you a soft smile before she flickered her gaze to Tony who looked slightly frightened. You all spilt up, Tony and McGee going together around back; you, Ziva and Gibbs going together. Heading inside the warehouse, you split off from Ziva and Gibbs heading to check the small corridor of offices. "There are two men, both of our suspects are here." Tim whispered into the mic concealed at his wrist. One entered the area you were in, you slipped into a doorway. You backed up slowly as the shadow came closer to you. He entered the room and managed to gain the upper hand. He knocked the gun from your hands, you threw a roundhouse kick at him, throwing your whole weight behind it. "Y/N is everything alright?" Tony asked, you realised that he must you a question which you had missed during the fight you were currently engaged in. You threw the suspect over your shoulder and flipped him over a table, causing an echoing crash to resound throughout the room. "I'll take that as a no." Tony quipped. "Suspect one is unconscious." You left the room after handcuffing the guy to the bars on the window. There was minor expulsion from where McGee was. He left the area alone and Tony looked over at him, "Where's the suspect?" McGee looked over at him and gave him a withering look. "Oh, I'm fine Tony..."

Hearing a clang, you all headed over to where the noise originated. You spotted Gibbs with the suspect having, for once in a blue moon type of miracle, having a gun pointed at him. You had the better shot, fired a single shot. The bullet struck the suspect in the shoulder, he shrieked and dropped his gun, grabbing his shoulder. Gibbs stepped fearlessly forward and decked the guy. He turned to you. "Cutting it kind of close, don't you think?" You shrugged, "At least I'm not late."
