I fumble through my vanity trying to find some decent makeup. I'm not really a big makeup girl like Josie or Diana, to tell the truth I really have no idea about makeup at all. It wasn't like I had a mother to show me how to do it and Marilla is very old school and doesn't believe anyone should wear any at all.

After many failed attempts at an eyeshadow look, I decided I should probably invite the girls over to help me, seeing as they are always begging to 'give me a makeover'

With that I quickly plugged my phone in on my dresser and hopped into the shower.

When I walked out of the bathroom (wrapped in a towel) I noticed the five girls already in my room, rummaging through my closet and looking up hairstyles on Pinterest.

"Make yourselves at home" I laughed shaking my head humorously

"Anneeeee your closet is sooo boring come on!! There's nothing to work with!!" Josie whined

She wasn't wrong, I have never really been into fashion or makeup as much as the other girls. My outfits usually included some kind of mom jeans and a random band tee.

"So where is he taking you?" Diana asked

"Oh um well I don't know" I laughed

"Okay please text him I need to know what to put you in!! I don't want you being too hot or cold!"

I picked up my phone from its place on the dresser and shot a text to gil

Anne hey, where are we going?

Gilbert well if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it? 😉

Anne Gil I need to know what to wear!

Gilbert okay well it's almost summer so... something summery? Also bring a jacket just in case ;)

Anne how about I wear something summery and you bring me a sweatshirt? 😏

With that I threw my phone back down and sat in my vanity's chair for Ruby to start blow drying my hair.
