— AUGUST 3RD —The next day, you actually managed to wake up in time to meet your friends. You walked to a nearby shopping mall, where Allie, Sophia and Luca smothered you with hugs as if they hadn't seen you just a couple of days earlier.
It had barely been five minutes before the conversation turned to Sebastian. Just as you thought, it seemed as if everyone wanted some kind of romance to happen between the two of you.
"Have you guys kissed?"
"Do you think he's hot?"
"Would you ever date him?"
Allie smirked knowingly as you rolled your eyes and glared at her, silently condemning her to keep her mouth shut about the conversation you'd had with her yesterday. Miraculously, she didn't say a word.
"Guys!" You had to raise your voice a little to be heard over the constant stream of questions. "You've known Sebastian for a lot longer than I have, okay? I met this guy, like, two days ago! He seems... nice. That's all I'm going to say."
"Nice?" Luca scoffed. "Try again, but this time use a word that means something."
You sighed. Out of the three of your childhood friends, Luca had always been the one to call you out when he knew you were trying to avoid a topic. Usually you didn't mind, but this time, it was definitely testing your patience.
Luckily, as you walked into Urban Outfitters, everyone was distracted by the bomber jacket displays. Taking your chance to escape, you wandered over to the swimwear, where a style of bikini had caught your eye. You found the correct size in two different colours and held them up, figuring out which one to buy.
"Seb likes red," a helpful voice chirped from behind you.
You bought the red one.

When you returned to the apartment, Sebastian was gone. Ignoring the fleeting feeling of disappointment that washed over you, you carried your bags of shopping into your bedroom, before settling down on the couch in the living room.
Suddenly, you realised that you didn't really know anything about the roles that Sebastian had played (aside from Bucky Barnes, of course – you'd done a tiny bit of research before agreeing to stay with him). Hastily, you typed into Google 'Sebastian Stan movies' and scrolled through the results, trying to pick one to watch while he was gone.
"The Last Full Measure... Destroyer..." you mumbled to yourself, deliberating. "The Bronze?"
After a couple of minutes, you settled on watching The Bronze. The movie was great – Lance Tucker was a petty little bitch, but you loved the character anyway.
About one hour into the movie, things began to get a little interesting. In a matter of seconds, both Lance and Hope were stripped completely naked, performing some kind of crazy gymnastics routine... while having sex. Somehow, you couldn't tear your eyes away from the scene in front of you.
Sebastian had a really nice butt.
As the sex scene was still playing, you jumped when the front door to the apartment began to open. You scrambled for the remote to turn the movie off, just as Sebastian walked into the room. You could only pray that he hadn't seen what you were watching.
"Good morning!" he greeted you, despite the fact that it was afternoon. Absentmindedly, you smiled and waved at him – and, to make matters worse, he walked over and plonked himself down onto the couch next to you.
You couldn't look him in the eye.
"So, I was thinking that we could maybe go out for dinner tonight? Not to McDonalds again, at a proper restaurant this time. Because, y'know, our attempt at cooking didn't really work."
You forced yourself to look across to Sebastian as you nodded. The intensity of his pale blue eyes made everything ten times more difficult, but still, you managed to reply. "Sure, that sounds good."
A few hours later, Sebastian was helping you out of his car. You'd let him choose the restaurant, and he definitely had good taste – you were standing outside one of your favourite Italian places in the city.
Sebastian gazed at you cautiously, trying to gauge your reaction to his choice. You grinned at him as you skipped towards the entrance.
"Did Allie tell you that I love this place?" you asked.
He shook his head. "This is one of my favourites. Their tiramisu is by far the best I've ever had."
You were in the restaurant for a few hours; it didn't take you too long to eat, but you were just having so much fun that you genuinely didn't realise how much time had passed. You were enjoying getting to know Sebastian a lot better – his personality was amazing. He was kind of quiet, but also extremely funny and witty. When Allie had said he was your type, you'd thought that she was talking about looks, but it turns out she was talking about everything.
By the time Sebastian finally drove you back to his apartment, it was almost midnight. The two of you stood in the hallway between your bedrooms, smiling at each other.
"Hey, thank you for tonight, Sebastian. I had a lot of fun."
"Me too... maybe we can do this again soon. And you know you can call me Seb, right?"
You chuckled quietly. "Okay, I will. Goodnight, Seb."
"Sleep well."
