29 – Love

"Amethyst, my scalp hurts!"

Nang makauwi galing sa bar ay dito na dumiretso sina Faye. I convinced them to just sleep here for the night. Wala naman akong kasama dahil si mommy ay hindi pa umuuwi simula noong birthday ko. I don't know where she is.

"Ganyan talaga! Tiis ganda!"

I rolled my eyes. Humapdi ang anit ko dahil sa pag b-bleach niya. I don't know if this is a drunk decision or not. Nakainom ako pero hindi ako lasing. But Amethyst is drunk, why did I let her?

Faye stayed on the bed while finding some good movies. "Anong movie? Nakakatakot?"

Agad na tumango si Amethyst. "Gusto ko iyong maiihi ako sa takot, ah?"

I laughed and tried to slap her butt. Umiwas siya habang natatawa saka nilagyan pa ulit ng likido ang buhok ko. Almost thirty minutes passed and I really can't take the pain. Agad ko nang binanlawan ang buhok ko gamit ang conditioner na binigay niya. She helped me dry my hair and combed it.

"Alright, blonde girl!" Faye shouted.

Tumatawa akong sumampa sa kama para makisama sa panonood. I kinda liked my hair, actually. It looks gold. Amethyst did a good job there even though she's drunk.

The movie started and it wasn't a horror movie but more of a thriller. Nang lingunin ko si Amethyst ay nakatulog na. Si Faye naman ay tutok na tutok sa pinapanood.

I glanced ay my hand where my ring was. I secretly smiled. I remember Ayden whenever I see it. Pati na ang kwintas. It's everything to me. Imbis na magsisi akong sinuway ko ang mommy ko at pumayag sa kabaliwan na ito ay masaya pa ako sa naging desisyon ko. I've never been this happy before.

Nang mag-umaga ay dumating si mommy. Of course, she was pleased to see Amethyst and Faye here. She even thanked them for being with me. Mabuti raw na binabantayan ako ng mga ito kapag wala siya. Little did she know that they tolerate my craziness.

"We are going to the Valdemar's later, honey.. I called my team–"

I shrugged and cut her off. "Ayoko nang magpakasal."

Agad siyang napatigil sa pagkain. She looked and me and frowned. Padarag niyang binitiwan niya ang kutsara't tinidor.

"Akala ko ba ay nagkasundo na tayo rito, Anastasia?"

Binalingan ko siya. She's mad again but I don't care. "I just don't want to."

She silently laughed. "You don't have a choice."

"I give myself a choice. It's yes or no.." matapang kong sabi. "And I say no."

Nalaglag ang panga niya saka itinulak ang plato palayo sa kaniya. She wiped her lips using the table napkin and stared at me. I continued eating and didn't mind her.

"Their business is a big help to ours. Ganoon din sila sa atin. Use your mind, Anastasia. Hindi ka lugi rito." Mariin niyang sabi.

Nagkibit-balikat ako. "Kahit na walang pagmamahal, ayos lang?"

"You'll eventually learn how to love him!"

"I will never love him!"

Napatayo siya sa galit. "Then don't! Pakasalan mo lang para sa pera!"

"Hindi naman tayo nagkukulang sa pera! We don't need their help!"

Taas baba ang dibdib ko nang tumayo para harapin siya. She doesn't understand. Siguro ay hindi niya pa nararamdaman. Maybe she's didn't experienced a love like this. Kaya ngayon ay kung saan-saan niya iyon hinahanap.
