you looked in the recording room and looked in the other rooms and saw they were nowhere on the main floor, nobody was ever upstairs so there was no point in checking there. You went towards the stairway that led downstairs and walked down the stairs into the basement.

you turned the corner and looked at the main part of the basement and saw that nobody was here either, where the hell did Lindsey run off too? you groaned and strained your neck a bit to peek into the kitchen and saw nobody, there wasn't even a sound anywhere. maybe they were on the top floor, you sighed and turned to go back upstairs,

"Surprise!!"

you jumped back, stumbling over the first step a bit and turning yourself, pressing your back up against the wall, all the blood rushed to your face as you looked around at the group who had yelled out at you. you looked and saw Frank, Ray, Gerard, Mikey, Bert, and Lindsey all standing behind the couches. you caught up with everything going on and stepped down off the stairs and went over to the main area and looked at everyone,

"wait, so G-Gerard isn't hurt?" you asked, Gerard smiled and shook his head no, he placed his arm around Lindsey,

"Nope, everyone is perfectly fine!" Gerard said, "We just had Lindsey say that so that you would come here!"

"why would you do that! I thought Gerard was hurt!" you whined, crossing your arms and moved closer to everyone. Ray went over to you and placed his arm around your shoulders, he was being really touchy today, not that that's a complaint but its a bit off, even for him.

"it would've ruined the surprise duh, come on just relax, it's your party don't be in a sour mood," he smiled down at you, you sighed and leaned on him a bit and nodded, Bert came over to you and placed his hands on your hips and pulled you away from Ray. He sat down on the couch and pulled you onto his lap, you groaned and tried to get off him but he held you close. he ran his hand along your leg and smiled at you,

"I know it's your birthday but it's starting to look as if it's my birthday instead by how you look right now," your eyes widened and you scrambled off him,

"Leave her alone bert, she doesn't like you," Frank said, he smacked the back of his head and hopped over the back of the couch, plopping down on it, bert rolled his eyes,

"You're just mad because she doesn't want you anymore," Bert replied before Gerard came up behind the two of them and smacked the back of their heads, you turned to look back at Frank, noticing he had a hurt look on his face. He looked at you, you gave him a soft smile, trying to reassure him as best as you could without making it too obvious towards the others. You heard Bert muttering something, he sounded like he said gross or something along those lines. You turned and glared at him, only for Bert to flash you a shit-eating grin in return.
