(I'm sorry for the slow updates, I've been stuck with staying on top of  homework and school. ill try to be more active, but its a bit hard right now. thank you for the wait)

"Hey hon wake up," you heard ray said softly, nudging you a bit, you groaned and looked up at him and saw he had his dress pants on and had his button-up shirt tucked in. he was putting on his belt as he was waking you up.

"Why are you waking me up?" you grumbled, slowly sitting up and combed out your hair with your fingers,

"uh, because its noon and you have to go to a funeral in less than an hour," you swung your legs off the side of the beg and grabbed Ray's hips and pulled him over to you, he looked down at you and placed his hands on your shoulders,

"what if we just skipped that dreadful funeral and continued what we did last night?" you asked, trying to pull him down onto the bed but it was no use,

"get dressed, we don't have to stay for long, just for a minute or two if you want," you sighed and got up and went over to your bag and pulled on new panties and a bra. you pulled your thigh high nylons back up your thigh and clipped your harness back on them. you pulled out your dress and put it on, it was a simple fitted black sheath dress that was sleeveless, it just had like tank top sleeves.

Ray came over to you and moved behind you and pushed your hair to the side and zipped up your dress for you. you smiled and held your hair out of the way and looked back at him,

"thank you," you said softly, he smiled and nodded and turned you around to face you,

"are you going to be okay today?" he asked softly, you wrapped your arms around his neck and nodded a bit,

"yeah, shouldn't be too bad. I think I'm going to go and pay my respects and leave. I don't wanna spend too much time with my family and too much time at a funeral home. id rather say cooped up in this hotel with you for the rest of the day," he smiled and wrapped his arms around your waist and held you tightly against him,

"well, my mom actually messaged me earlier today and I told her that we were here in Jersey and said we could come to dinner if wed like. so if you wanna go there we can," god it's been forever since you've seen Ray's mom, she was always the nicest person and she was almost like an actual mother to you considering you lived with her for most of your life growing up. by simply wanting to and because you had to.

"Yeah, that would be cool, I miss your mom, to be honest," you broke out from his embrace and went into the bathroom with your bag and pulled out what little makeup you brought and began to apply it, and then curled your hair. ray came into the bathroom with you and put on his suit jacket and grabbed his tie and tried to put it on, but he couldn't figure out how to tie it. you couldn't help but giggle at his attempts. you sat your curling iron down on the sink and moved in front of him and moved his hands out of the way,

"you'll hang yourself before you actually tie this properly," he laughed and placed his hands on your waist and watched you as you tied his tie. he gripped your waist a bit tighter and pulled you in a bit closer. up finished tying the tie and pulled it up to his neck and looked up at him, he smiled down at you and leaned in and kissed you softly. you slid your hands up his chest and wrapped your arms around his neck. standing up on your tiptoes to get a better grasp at him, he pulled away and laid his forehead against yours.

"Despite  this being a funeral outfit, you look very nice," he said softly, you smiled and played with his hair,

"thank you," you choked out, it felt like the words were stuck in your throat as you looked up at him, "I've never seen you in a suit before," you looked down at his chest and ran your hands down to the buttons on his jacket and buttoned him up.
