ok so remember the other book i talked about? "green rising" by lauren james
so i got another book by her for christmas "the reckless afterlife of harriet stoker"

and well this time there isnt an (explicitly) aro and/or ace character BUT ITS STILL SO GOOD
also all the characters are ghosts
and its so Cool i-
ok so you have harriet shes the main character, she just died and btw, shes ✨pan✨ its great her character might be a bit messed up but especially because shes the mc her actions are so interesting
then theres felix hes been pining for his best friend kasper for decades (and its great and u get a flashback of him coming out to the other ghosts as gay for the first time (and also he has the biggest crush on captain america but only knows the comics bc he dies before the movies came out) (and he has a twin brother whos still alive and cones to visit the house where thry all died every year and-) (look i just have so many feelings about felix)
but anyways he thinks kaspers straight they all think hes (even he himself) straight bc of denial (but dw, you think itll be hopeless but eventually kasper comes out as bi and its great and everyones happy)
and with their backstory you get a really cool enemies-to-lovers story??
ALSO THE PLOT TWISTS OH MY GOD
well, all im saying is, if you like ghosts, read this book its great
i read it all in one day like i was in elementary school again :')
