Well at least out of all the crazy things in the world Annabeth wasn't dead. Well not yet.
"So uh dad." Annabeth said.
"What's up?" Her dad looked up from his phone.
"How long do you think you can stay?" She asked. Hopefully longer than a day but her father was always busy with business stuff so probably less.
"I leave tomorrow."
Annabeth swallowed "Uh, business trip?"
Her father nodded.
Annabeth especially disliked it when her father had long business trips. When she was a kid she hated staying with her stepmom. That was before she ran away.
Percy came in the room. He was holding Ashlyn. Ashlyn looked just like Annabeth with sea green eyes. Jax was the opposite.
Ashlyn was crying.
"What's wrong."
Percy shrugged "I think she's hungry."
"Give her to me." Annabeth said.
Annabeth had learned the difference between Ashlyns cries. She was definitely hungry.
"Can you make her bottle?" Annabeth asked.
"Sure."
He made the bottle and handed it to Annabeth.
"Thanks." She said.
She fed it to Ashlyn and she stopped crying instantly.
"Did you feed Jax?" Percy asked.
"Yeah earlier."
"Okay."  He nodded then took Ashlyn and put her in her crib.
The day quickly started to end and Annabeth put her kids to bed. And then actually went to go sleep in her own.
