I'm Exhausted

It was after school in a classroom.

Mika and I were searching for cosplay events on our
   smartphones.

“Saki, check this out!” Mika said as she showed off her
smartphone’s screen to me. “There’s an event on the 5^th floor
   of a train station nearby!”

I looked and saw there was a cosplay event taking place at a
train station close to my house.

Yes, I’m grateful it will be so close by…

“But, I think if it’s too close to my house, I’d be a bit
embarrassed if the neighbors find out…”

At that, Mika shrugged. “Yeah, that’s certainly something to
think about… well, you’d be perfect as the Marshall, Saki, so I
   don’t think anyone will complain.”

“If you say that, I don’t think they’ll be able to complain
about you being the Saint of Light, too.”

“Again, nothing to complain about, ohohohohoho,” Mika said.

“No, no, I’m just being honest, ohohohohoho,” I replied.

We continued to search for cosplay events, playing
   incomprehensible character roles.

After a while, we found an event that was being held at a
reasonably far-away station from my house.

With that settled, I decided we’d take a duo-photo, reproducing
one of the more popular CG’s: me hugging Mika…

“Marshal. It’s time to wake up.”

As I was lost in my nostalgic dreams, I heard Jade again.

When I opened my eyes, Jade bowed deeply in respect.

“Oh, I see,” I said. “Thank you for caring as always, Jade.”

“And thank you for your kind words,” Jade replied with his
usual smile. “Well then, I’ll read your afternoon schedule
   aloud.”

And again like usual, Jade begins to read out my schedule.
Today’s afternoon will be the same as usual…

   “Faaah… ah.”

   I made a huge yawn…

“… Marshall?” Jade says, his brows knitting tightly.

If I yawn in the middle of Jade’s reciting, things are going to
   get awkward…

“My apologies, Jade,” I said, bowing my head.
   [INS: :INS]

“No, no, no!” Jade cried quickly. “There’s no need to
   apologize! Please, raise your head!”

   I don’t think he’s angry.

When I looked up, Jade was bowing his head with an anxious
expression on his face. “Marshall, you look exhausted,” he
   said. “How are you feeling…?”

   Am I exhausted…?

I am having these dreams at the same time every day recently,
so I feel like I’m not sleeping too deeply.

Another reason I can think of is–

“If it’s not too much of a bother, why don’t we contact the
Saint of Light to use healing magic on you?”

–one that Jade has just mentioned.

   “Refrain from that,” I said.

“But why not?!” Jade asked. “The grapevine says that the Saint
of Light’s healing magic is the best in our current generation
   of mages!”
