Jade told me that I could use the Ultimate Magic but it all
turned out to be a misunderstanding.

   Still, Jade looked puzzled.

“Do you believe Lavender’s fortune-telling was wrong?” he
   asked.

“Yes, I do,” I said. “As I just said, the Saint of Light and I
   are only friends.”

“Is that, really so…?” Jade asked. “However, Lavender’s
   fortune-telling has never been wrong…”

“Well, there are exceptions to everything,” I said.

“Yes, that’s fair…” Jade said, putting a hand to his mouth as
his brow wrinkled. “For what it’s worth, I feel you can use the
   Ultimate Magic, Marshall…”

“Is it possible to tell if I can use it or not?” I asked. “…
Anyway, you must have been wrong about the conditions for using
   it, I’m certain.”

“Is that so?” Jade replies with a puzzled expression.

Even if I keep on with this argument, it seems that nothing
   will come of it.

“It must be true,” I said. “Well then, I’ll clean up this room,
you can go back to your duties, Jade.”

“Ah, yes,” Jade said. “Please excuse me, Marshall,” he said as
he bowed respectfully then left the guest room.

Well, I’ve got to clean up the tea set and the confectioneries
that Kou has brought over. Anyway, I’m a little tired because
of so many things happening in quick succession today… I think
I should rest then start cleaning up.

When I sat down on the sofa, I felt drowsy.

   Isn’t it fine if I sleep for a bit…?

Before I knew it, I was in a classroom after school.

Even if I looked around, I can’t see anyone.

I think I was talking to Mika until just a while ago…

   “I’m sorry, Saki!

“I’d love to stay but I’ve got some urgent business I need to
   do,

   “So I gotta go!”

   Oh, right.

She said she had urgent business.

She told me that I should go home first, and I need to do that.

I feel the hands of the clock are pointing to the time when I
   have to start heading home.

The numbers and the hands are distorted and I can’t read them
   clearly.

Anyway, let’s head out of the classroom soon.

If it gets too late, my family will be worried.

But it’s a little lonely to walk home alone.

Still, aren’t I going home with my friend tomorrow?

Mika and I are always together.

Hence, I have to go home soon.

Even still, the handle on the classroom door doesn’t move at
   all.

I have to go home soon.

But in the end, I don’t want to open the door.

“To all students, please leave the campus.”
