SYLVIA'S POV

My feet were hurting inside those heels, and my wedding dress was almost cutting my breathing. Why did I even pick out these things? I groaned looking in the mirror. I smiled at myself, I look beautiful though.

"Stop staring at yourself, we have a wedding to attend." Liliana's voice snapped me out.

She looked beautiful, her red hair was up in a ponytail and her dress, made her look like a mermaid.

"Lils I hate this dress it's so tight. I think I might have gained weight since I first bought it." I complained, making Liliana roll her eyes.

"Fuck it. We're not normal people." Liliana said. I raised an eyebrow, trying to figure out what she was doing. She reached into my room's closet, pulling out a dress I've never seen.

"Is my closet fucking Narnia? I've never seen this dress." Liliana rolled her eyes again.

"I put it there idiot. When you bought this wedding dress, I already knew you were going to complain about it and hate it. It's too white and too princessy for you. Therefore as the amazing friend that I am, I bought you a back up dress." I couldn't help but start laughing as I unzipped this uncomfortable dress.

"Love you Lils." I said, when she gave me the burgundy dress. I put it on and it was way more beautiful than the white one.

"Yeah yeah, now put on those other black heels and let's go we're already fashionably late. " I smiled again, this girl knew me so well. She even got me another pair of shoes. I quickly put on the heels. She grabbed my hand, running as fast as we could with heels down the stairs.

We got into the car, Liliana driving like a mad woman. We finally reached the small altar, we hurried out. Liliana gave me a bouquet with flowers, there were some daggers in between the flowers. I smirked when I saw Antonio and Giovanni waiting for me. Liliana hurried inside as both of the men extended their arms.

I Interlocked each of my arms with theirs. Giovanni was at my right and Antonio on my left. The big door opened, as I started walking. I didn't look at Lucio, my eyes landed on all the mafia men at the seats, all dressed in their expensive suits. I finally looked up and saw him. He was standing at the end of the altar, looking like a Greek God. He was wearing a total black suit. Our eyes locked and I could do nothing else but smile. This was it, we were getting married. The two men kissed each of my cheeks, Lucio extending his hand.I took his rough hand in mine, our eyes never leaving one another.

"We are gathered here today for the joining of two people. " The priest began talking but I muted out his voice. I could only focus on the man in front of me.

"Have you prepared your vows?" The priest asked and I cleared my throat.

"When I was a kid I always dreamed of marrying a prince. He'd come rescue me from my tower in his white horse, like a damsel in distress. However, life had a different plan for me. I was forced to become a predator instead of prey. I thought that my life was over, that I would never find happiness again. I'll never forget that gala, the one where I met the love of my life. Every night I would look at the sky for comfort, for forgiveness and encouragement. You, Lucio D'Angelo became my sky. You've given me everything I've ever wanted, you made my world shine, you gave me light and power. I'm so happy that I never got my prince Charming and instead I got a prince of chaos and mayhem. I vow to love you unconditionally, stay by your side through sickness and health, until we both shall live. " I could feel tears in my eyes, as I finished my vow.

"I have no idea how my vow could ever top yours. You Sylvia Amaretti are the best thing that has ever happened to me. From the moment that I saw your perfect face, I knew you were half of my soul. You are my past, present and future. You have enchanted me in ways I can't explain. I am and always will be under your spell. I've never loved anyone as much as I love you, you are the love of my life, the only person I'll ever bow to. My queen of hell, we'll conquer the world the same way you've conquered my entire existence. Through sickness and health, always and forever I'll be with you, every step of the way, for as long as we both shall live I'll love and cherish you with all my heart."

I didn't care for the tears that escaped my eyes now. The man in front of me was all I cared about, the master of my heart and spirit.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Lucio pulled me close to him, kissing me passionately. Cheers erupted from the crowd, as we pulled back. Every one of the guests , pulled their guns out. They started firing at the air, cheering and screaming. I looked at Lucio, the biggest smile on my face. Maybe happy ever afters did exist after all.
