This collection is just a lapse in judgement from my seventeen-year-old self. The story is that I saw Instagram as a viable way to start writing and promoting my work. So I started this project envisioning it to be something that would help me skyrocket into stardom. Of course, it didn't happen so here I am after being discouraged. 

I don't regret it though. Through this Instagram gig of mine, I get to explore Canva and its numerous Instagram templates. I also had fun writing the pieces, themselves. Some of these are my most favorites and I can't bear to let them rot in my backup files (read: discord server) so here they are in a brand new, conjured-out-of-nowhere poetry collection.

What to expect in this collection? I've got four things.

This is basically my confessionals but in poetry format. This is the predecessor of ASOSACOW and AAOSAEOS and where I first found the joy of vulnerable poetry where I just spill feelings all over and using words. I have timeless and gold poems through this venture so I am very excited for you to read them.

These pieces highlight the hardships of being not just a writer, but an artist in general. They tackle the heartaches, the journey, and the power of people who not only live but make art as well. Some of these pieces I love while some are...just there. lol.

These pieces are meant to start a short story or scene by providing dialogues. Most of these are really, really short so I had to combine them in this collection. These pieces are mostly just back and forth quotes that either build a story or recount an argument. I made this to chronicle the weird dialogues popping and living rent-free in my brain.

These pieces tackle anything and everything. These are also the predecessor of ASOSACOW and AAOSAEOS in terms of their loose structure and their ability to talk about anything under the sun. I've got some gold that you should look forward to in this category, too. Some I don't remember writing, too.

Each of these pieces is referred to as "session" followed by a number. I forwent the numbers but the pieces are still referred to as sessions. So, you will see a note in the part titles like "two sessions" or "four sessions" and that means that I've compiled pieces that are too short to stand on their own. So, yeah.

Another is that this collection will have a lot of untitled pieces so beware of that. It's not that they're unimportant. They're just really, really scattered, and hard for me to compile their idea in a single title. So, yeah. Don't be surprised when you see an "-untitled-" pop up every now and then.

Lastly, I thank you all if you ever decide to stay with me as I release this collection and its sessions into the wild. One word that would guide you throughout this collection: nonsense.
