I was walking to and fro in my room going through some of the files which I gotta work on.

I received a call and picked my phone and smiled seeing it's Anu..

"Where are you?", She asked

"Home", I replied

"What the hell Divi, din't I tell you gotta come here by today?", She shouted

She will never change.. shouting at me is something she loves to do!

"Calm down, I couldn't get a ticket for today Anu.. I booked it for tomorrow and I'll be there tomorrow afternoon", I informed

"Ok fine, I'll adjust with that.. and yeah send me the time, me and Aarav will come to pick you up", she said

"That's not needed Anu, Bhai said he'll be coming", I said

"Acha, then I'll come with Siddardh Bhai.. it's been like three months I saw you, I wanna meet you soon", she said

"Sorry that I couldn't make time.. was having a little busy schedule in the office.. you stay back with Aarav, it's your marriage and you can't roam around like this", I said

"You won't change only, when did you listen to me.. anyways, you will directly come home atleast", she asked

"I'll go with Bhai Anu, I'll freshen up and come there ok?", I asked

"Ok and one thing, I want all your concentration only on me and my marriage.. if I see you sulking there then I'm not marrying only", she said slowly

I know what she meant, that's what I was doing all these months.. sulking over my own life and fate.

"Don't zone out Divi", I heard Anu

"Sorry, it won't happen again.. I'm coming for you and my full concentration on you only", I said

"Good, ok then complete your work if you have any.. you are on leave for the next two weeks straight", she said

"Sure, bye", I said and cut the call

It's been months that I even had a fun time with Anu.. but I can't be the same now, it's her marriage and the time she has to be happy.. I won't spoil her happiness with my life issues.

I actually kept a leave for two weeks, ofcourse my boss din't accept initially but after my constant request and being the kind soul he accepted only if I work when it's urgent or nessasary.

I'm currently in Kolkata, and have to go back to Mumbai tomorrow.. going back to a pack of memories I had there..

"Hey Divya, I'm going out for a while.. you ok right?", I heard Aadhya

Aadhya is my roommate since when I shifted to Kolkata.. I'm glad I found her who although not very close to me, was a very good friend of mine.

If she wasn't there then I don't know how I would have managed in a new place initially..

"Yeah Aadhya, you go and I'm fine.. don't worry", I smiled

"You are going back to Mumbai tomorrow right for two weeks? I was given some work there as well.. so I'll come there after a week or so, so we can come back together?", She asked

"Sure, inform me when are you coming and all later", I said

"Yeah, and damn Divi I'll miss you.. although we don't talk much being in the office till evening and you being an introvert doesn't talk much.. but still I'll miss you", she pouted
