Arjun slowly explained the situation to everyone and I see none responding anything.

I was getting scared seeing there silence, I looked at Bhai and saw him staring blankly elsewhere.

"Bhai", I called him to which he slowly looked up

I was right, he was shedding silent tears for me. I rushed to him sitting on my knees infront of him and cupped his face.

"Bhai please, don't", I sniffed with him

"I couldn't do anything Divi, you had to suffer a lot and I wasn't even there with you in your bad times", he hugged me tight

"Bhai don't say such, it was just the situation which wasn't in our favour", I was rubbing his back

"Bhai", I heard Arjun

I backed off looking at Arjun next to me looking at Bhai.

"I'm sorry that I failed to keep my promise, I promised you and Divi to keep her happy and safe all my life but I failed in it.. either of us still doesn't know what actually happened that day which led to so much confusion, but this time I'm promising Bhai.. I'll find out the reason behind this, I wouldn't spare anything or anyone responsible and this time me and Divi are gonna be forever and unlike before I wouldn't fail Bhai", Arjun said sincerely

"I don't blame you Arjun, after what you both said even I'm in confusion and understand there something more to it. It's just that I felt too much to digest all of a sudden, sorry", Bhai said

"Sid calm down, we all love Divi and Arjun so much and wished them to be together always but none of us expected anything this sort.. we should think how to solve this instead of crying for what happened", dad said and Bhai nodded

"Arjun, did you say nitya came to your house coz I invited her and her parents?", Papa asked

"Yes dad, she said you invited her family so she came to visit me as well", Arjun said

"But it's been years I have even spoke to her dad Arjun, we eventually lost touch and it's been around three to four years I have spoke to him", papa said shocking all of us

"Who is she Arjun?", I asked out of blue

"Her father and dad where friends once Divi, so I know her that way but she was never close to me.. she was in our college only", Arjun said

Oh wait, same college.. that's when I remembered her, I saw her in college once when I came to talk to Arjun about the ring he gifted me.. she's the same one! Nitya!

"But why would she lie when you haven't invited dad?", Arjun asked voicing all our doubt

"I don't know Arjun, but I have never invited them", papa said

"Don't tell me she's behind all this", Bhai roared

"Bhai calm down please", I requested

"I don't know Bhai, but she isn't someone to ignore now", Arjun said

"How did she even know your house and details Arjun? As far as I know only few of your friends know about your marriage with Divya.. you never met most of them again right?", Papa asked

"No dad, I haven't met most of them post my graduation.. and I don't think the few who knows about my marriage shared this with anyone", Arjun said

"Divi your friends?", Papa asked

"No papa, I lost contact with most of them by the time we got married.. so they might not know", I said

"Arjun, I don't know anything about her.. and after what happened I can't trust her only coz she's the daughter of my old friend.. we gotta do something", papa said
