Arjun

I knew she would come lashing on me.. as expected!!

"I hate you Arjun", she said sniffing

"And I know you don't mean it" I said taking her in a hug

Her touch on my bare body took me back to the memory lane thinking how happy we where cuddling, caring and just happiness around.

She flinched by my touch but stayed in my arms giving me peace within. How much I missed her touch and hugging her like this.

I pulled her more tightly in me feeling her within..

"Don't make it complicated Arjun", she whispered

"It became complicated Divi, I'm trying to correct it", I kissed on top of her hair

"Just leave me like this Arjun, you are hurting me more", she said sobbing

"Trust me Divi, I want you back in my life and this time I'll treasure you forever", I said

"You said the same when we got married also Arjun", she said backing off

I felt a pang in my heart listening to her words.. she was right, I promised her and couldn't fulfill any over the time.

"Divi", I called

"I don't wanna go with the pain again Arjun, it took me long to get through all that and have a stable life.. now please don't take me back to the same point again", she said looking away

"Divya please, let's just talk once", I said

"Why don't you understand that I don't want to talk anything of what happened.. it just..", she said and was breathing heavy

"Ok, Divi calm down.. sit here", I said making her sit on the bed

I quickly poured some water in the glass and forwarded to her and she drank in a go.

"I'm sorry.. I din't mean to..", she interrepted me

"Please Arjun, just let it be..", she said weakly

"You need rest", I said

"I'm fine", she snapped

She went away from the room and I sat there thinking what's going on..

The next day, I got ready and came down and went to Divya..

"Come, we gotta go", I said

"Where?", She asked confused

"To your new office, you have to sign there today..", I informed

"But I wasn't informed any", she said

"I just did", I smirked

"You know what I meant", she glared at me

"Ok fine, now come Divya.. you have to sign and can see your cabin also", I said

"I.. I'll go alone", she said

I knew this would come.

"I'm not allowing you to", I said

"And who are you to say that?", She asked

"Your husband", I smirked

"Ex, ex-husband", she said

Little did she know.. I was, I'm and will always be her husband..

"Ok atleast consider me your bestie's to be husband's best friend?", I asked
