"They've promised that dreams can come true -- but forgot to mention that nightmares are dreams, too."

"With shining cars and shining wheels, the train of dreams comes whistling through.
On tracks of moonlight always gleaming
Hear the train bell gently ringing
Soft she calls the children in.
"Her seats are cottony pink and blue. Her ride is smooth and never bumpy.
Soft warm blankets hug-like hold
Dewy color bright with gold
The children, dreamward, travel on.
"The dream train whistle startles never but is the sound of somnolent pleasure
The conductor in her coat soft blue
The attendant in her darker hue
Make sure every child's need is met.
"With sleep sand eyes and tousled hair, the passengers wait with bated breath.
For fun and joy and sweet delight
The land of dreams all bathed in light
And every child finds a place."
-The Dream Train
