This story is best read after Ayn's Healing, but I am told it reads reasonably well as a stand-alone book.*

I however felt the need to tackle more "grown-up" themes in this one.  Triggering subjects include (but are not limited to): abuse, sexual abuse, strong language, mental health issues, and drug use. Also, graphic violence, because wolves.  Whatever is not covered here, should be covered by the fact that the story is rated mature, so if you are not 18+ - please abstain, there be demons.

The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this production are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred.

The copyright belongs to me and only me etc. etc., as per the front page of the story.

* I think you should also read Ayn's Healing - it's a nice story (with the disclaimer that my opinion is strongly biased by the fact that I wrote it :). Otherwise, the Map of the Land and Rules of the Land in the next chapter should help with defining the world.
