Chapter Three

It was nice to have the freedom to do as she pleased, she sat in the kitchen, after going through the kitchen cupboards which had been freshly stocked with groceries, and ate some toast although she wasn't really that hungry but she knew she had to eat something seeing as it was almost the afternoon. She threw the half eaten piece of plain toast down on the napkin in front of her as there was a knock on the door. She stood up and walked to the door, not carrying that she was still only wearing short sleep shorts and an old hoodie. Storm peeked through the blinds and saw Chibs and Juice standing outside, she quickly opened the door, her face clearly confused.

"Hey." Storm said questioningly as Chibs and Juice walked inside, as she shut the door behind them. She followed them into the lounge and stopped. "Get dressed and pack a bag. We're on lockdown as of now and we are bringing everyone in. Things with the Mayans went South this morning sweetheart." Chibs told her firmly as she signed. "Alright, but can I at least follow you in Dad's truck." Storm asked. "Sure sweetheart. Just hurry up." Chibs agreed knowing it wasn't going to be easy for her, she just got out of prison and was now being put on lockdown. Brax nodded and made her way out of the room, heading for her bedroom. Chibs looked at Juice who had his dorky smile on as he watched her leave, Chibs lightly slapped Juice upside the head. "Ouch" Juice said as he looked at Chibs.

Storm walked back into her bedroom and pulling open her draws, pulling out a pair of light blue skinny jeans, a black racer back singlet, an oversized grey cardigan and a pair of black ballet flats. She quickly got changed before finding a small duffel bag and quickly packing it with her clothes and toiletries, grabbing her wallet and keys as well. She walked back to the lounge with her bag. "Juice, can you give Chibs and I a minute?" Storm asked. "Sure, I'll take your bag to your car and meet you outside." Juice said grabbing her bag from her. "Thanks Juice." She replied as he walked out.

"I know what being on lockdown means but I have to go to St Thomas for a check up in the next day or so." Storm told Chibs, knowing his background as a medic. "Organise an appointment for tomorrow morning if you can and I'll take you. I'll give you a burner once we get back to the clubhouse to use and keep." Chibs said. "Thanks Chibs." Storm replied. "Let's get you back to the clubhouse." Chibs replied as he began to work out, she followed, locking up behind her.

Chibs, Juice and Storm arrived back at the clubhouse, the last ones to arrive for the lockdown. Storm got out of her truck, grabbing her bag and walking in with them. "Hey baby." Tig said hugging her as soon as she walked in, seeing the place full of members and family. "Hi Dad." Storm answered. "Take my room, the bedding is fresh." Tig said kissing her forehead. "Thanks." Storm answered making her way through the crowd, heading for the dorms. She made her way to Tig's room and walked in, unsurprised by the mess, she quickly put her bag down on top of the dresser just as a knock came on the opened door. She turned around and saw Chibs leaning against the door. "Here." Chibs said holding out a fresh prepay for her to have. "Thank you Chibs. I'll ring now and let you know." Storm replied taking the phone. Chibs nodded and walked out, shutting the door behind him as Storm sat on the edge of the bed and dialled the number for her doctor at St Thomas.

She finished the call and shut the prepay slipping it into her pocket, standing up and walking out, finding Chibs standing in the hall. "I got an appointment for 8am, it was the only one available." She told Chibs quietly leaning against the wall. "Can I ask what's wrong?" Chibs spoke softly, equally as quiet. "I haven't told anyone but when I got stabbed there were some complications with my lung and liver and I just have to get them checked." Storm told him honestly as he nodded.

Chibs and Storm walked back into the main room, she sat down at the bar and looked around, hating the feeling of lockdown but knowing it wouldn't happen unless the threat was real. Gemma sat beside her, glaring at her. "Now you are back, you need to stay out of trouble." Gemma told Storm forcefully. "I'm not here to make trouble Gemma, never was." Storm replied. Gemma nodded and made her way over to the kitchen. Storm sat and watched, seeing Tacoma members file in, including Happy and Kozik before she stands up and walks back to Tig's room, just wanting to be alone.

She walked over to her bag and pulls out the medication and getting one pill out. She walks into the bathroom, swallowing the pill before standing in front of the mirror. Storm pulled her cardigan off and threw it onto the bed before looking back at her reflection. She lifted up the right side of her shirt, revealing the deep scarring of the anarchy symbol carved into her stomach during her prison attack along with the other scars from the stab wounds. She brushed her hand over the 'A'. "Oh shit, sorry." Half Sack said as he walked into the room without knocking, Storm quickly put her shirt back down as she looked at him. "Sorry. Tig wants you." The prospect said. "Don't say anything about what you just saw." Storm said, glaring at him, her voice harsh. "I won't." Half Sack nodded. "I'll be out in a minute." Storm told him, he quickly nodded and left the room, shutting the door behind him. Storm signed and smoothed her hands over her singlet top, picking up her cardigan and putting it back on, pulling it tight around her body.

Storm walked out, scanning the room for her Dad and found him standing beside the Clay, Jax and Bobby at the pool table. She slowly made her way over, not wanting to interrupt them. "Half Sack said you wanted me." Storm said quietly. "Yeah baby. Just wanted to tell you it's going to be a late night and to stay at the club. Piney and the prospect are staying here." Tig told her noticing how she had her cardigan wrapped tightly around her body. "Ok. Be careful." Storm replied as the club began to file outside as she walked beside him. She stopped standing beside Piney and watched as every member mounted their bikes, the roar coming to life as each started their bikes, Storm involuntarily moving closer to Piney as the club drove out. "Come on sweetheart." Piney said leading her back inside. She sat down on one of the sofas rubbing her face.

"Water." Half Sack said as he held out the bottle to her. "Thanks" Storm said as she took the bottle and he sat down next to her. "I overheard the guys before talking about how you used to box." Half Sack said as he attempted to make conversation. "Yeah I used to. Tig taught me. I take it you box then?" Storm asked feeling bad for the prospect. "Yeah, the guys are helping me train for a competition." Half Sack said excitedly. "Might have to get back in the ring myself." Storm replied smiling. "Well you seem fit enough." Half Sack commented. "I mean, no I didn't mean it.." Half Sack reasoned. "I get it just stop talking." Storm interrupted him smiling lightly. "I think you're wanted." Storm said looking over at Piney.

Storm stood up, sick of sitting around and wanting to be alone, and walked to Tig's room. She quickly got changed and got into bed, sitting up against the headboard, and listened to the sounds of the clubhouse, as the anxiety built up...
