Chapter Twelve

Storm woke to Juice's arm tightly wrapped around her in his dorm room as Cash and Nell laid asleep on the floor next to the bed. Storm gently made her way out of the bed being careful not to wake Juice up and made her way to the bathroom, turning on the shower and getting in. Storm finished showering, her hair and make-up done, and then went to Juice's draws grabbing a change of clothes including a black lace lingerie set, a black singlet top, and picking up her light blue skinny jeans from yesterday, along with her black cropped leather jacket, slipping on her clothes and heels before walking out with Cash and Nell in front of her. Storm shut the door behind her and made her way down the hall, checking in on Tig in his room, he was still asleep and cuddling his pillow.

Storm made her way into the club kitchen, making coffee and feeding Cash and Nell while she waited for the coffee to be ready. She quickly poured out a cup, and walked outside with Cash and Nell who happily ran around the lot stretching their legs as she walked over to her truck, pulling out her sketch book and a pen before returning to the picnic table and sitting down.

Storm sat just adding the finishing touches to a sketch she was working on, when Jax rode in and parked up. She watched as Cash and Nell ran over to Jax, he patted both of their heads before making his way over, sitting opposite her. "What are you working on?" Jax asked looking at her art book. "A gun and roses." Storm answered. "How are you doing this morning?" Jax asked concerned. "It had to come out eventually, I just would have preferred to tell you all when I was ready." Storm answered as Jax nodded just as Clay arrived with Gemma following behind.

Clay walked over with Gemma and stopped at the table. "Morning." Storm and Jax said in unison. Morning." Clay and Gemma replied together. "Clay, will you be needing Dad...Tig for a few hours this morning. It's just I want to clear the air away from here with him." Storm asked as she closed her sketch book. "I think that's a good idea. Just make sure he stays available. You can even have the day." Clay answered making Storm smile. "Thank you. I better get him up." Storm said picking up her sketch book, pen and empty coffee cup, and walking inside with Cash and Nell behind her.

Storm walked in just as Juice walked out, they smiled at each other but didn't speak. Storm walked into the kitchen, quickly refilling her cup with coffee and walked to Tig's room. Storm sat down on the edge of the bed, the cup still in her hand. "Dad" Storm said causing Tig to groan. "Dad!" Storm said even louder making Tig sit straight up. "Here" Storm said handing him the cup of coffee before standing up. "We're going out today. You're taking me for a ride on your bike, the destination is up to you. You need to be ready in thirty." Storm said as she walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower before walking back out, catching Tig's glare. She walked out as Tig started to get out of the bed, shutting the door behind her.

Tig walked out freshly showered and dressed in clean clothes with his kutte on as Storm sat at the bar waiting while Juice entertained Cash and Nell who were now on their leads. "Stay available." Clay told Tig who nodded as Storm stood up. "Ready to go?" Tig asked. "I've been ready for a while." Storm replied making him shake his head as they walked out. Storm climbed on behind Tig, resting her head into his back as they left the lot.

Storm smiled as she realised where Tig had taken her, to the park he used to take her to when she was little, she smiled as she got off the bike and took off her helmet and running a hand through her hand. "I can't believe you bought me here." Storm smiled. "Well you said it was my choice." Tig smiled as he got off the bike, following suit with Storm. Storm and Tig walked over to the swings, sitting beside one another. "I remember when I was really little and you used to sit me in front of you on your bike and drive around TM. Gemma would yell at you to be careful and I'd be telling you to go faster..." Storm told Tig making him smile.

"Why didn't you tell me the full extent of what happened?" Tig asked as Storm looking over at him. "I didn't want to disappoint or worry you more than you already were; and I didn't need you doing something in the heat of the moment either that could have had far reaching consequences for you, me and the club. I'm sorry I didn't tell you everything Dad." Storm told Tig who nodded. "You could never disappoint me baby." Tig said as Storm stood and moved in front of him. Storm quickly grabbed Tig's hand and lifted the corner of her shirt, placing his hand on the 'A'. "I would have preferred ink but I can't change what happened." Storm said as Tig felt over the 'A'. Tig pulled his hand back as Storm fixed her shirt and sat back down on the swing.

"I wanted you to be the first to know. I was going to tell you last night..." Storm trailed off as she reached into her bag and pulled out the large envelope, handing it to Tig. Tig took the envelope from Storm, and slowly opened it, pulling out the contents. Storm watched as he read it, his smile coming across his face, before he stood up. Tig pulled Storm up and pulled her into his arms, hugging her tightly before letting her go. "This is amazing Storm." Tig said. "I know, all the extra courses inside helped me further. I managed to get a part-time position at St Thomas in the emergency room. I start in two days." Storm told Tig, smiling wide.

"I'm so proud of you baby." Tig said. "Thanks Dad." Storm replied as Tig handed her back the envelope which she slipped back into her bag. "Well we have the day, so lets celebrate. How about ice cream kiddo?" Tig suggested making Storm laugh as she nodded at him.

Tig and Storm returned to TM just as the sun began to set. Tig felt a lot better than he did this morning and couldn't wipe the smile off his face. They got off the bike and Tig put his arm over Storm's shoulders, pulling her in closer as they walked into the clubhouse. "I'm proud of you." Tig whispered to her as they walked in just as Cash and Nell ran up to them. Storm looked around the clubhouse, seeing everyone relaxed with a drink in their hands and cigarettes in their hands for those who smoked. "Can I tell them?" Tig asked quietly as Half Sack handed them both a beer, Storm smiled and nodded. Tig whistled loudly making the clubhouse go silent as everyone turned to look at them. "My baby is a nurse, like a real one and she got a job part time at St Thomas!" Tig shared excitedly making her laugh as the club all moved to hug her and congratulate her.

"I'm glad I won't be the only one able to patch everybody up!" Chibs said making her laugh as he hugged her. "So what tattooist at the weekends and nurse by weekdays." Piney stated, Storm replied with "something like that".

"I'm going to head home." Storm said to Tig quietly. "Alright baby. See you tomorrow." Tig said understanding that she was tired and it was late. Storm stood up, grabbing her bag and made her way out with Cash and Nell beside her. She quickly got the dogs in the car before getting in herself and leaving the lot, just wanting to go home, have a nice hot bubble bath and then go to sleep...
