Chapter Sixteen

Storm, Juice and Half Sack all pulled into the lot in the vehicles, getting out and grabbing everything that they had picked up, with the dogs on their leashes and carrying the leads themselves, they made their way into the clubhouse, seeing the guys sitting around the room. Storm grabbed her bag from Juice. "Everything go alright?" Clay asked. "Yeah." Juice answered. "I'm going to grab a shower and get out of these bloody scrubs." Storm said not caring who was listening before she walked to Juice's room, dumping her bag on the bed and walking into the bathroom.

Storm walked out of Juice's room freshly showered and changed to hear a hell of a commotion, she walked into the main area seeing her Dad and Kozik going at it as the guys watched. Storm sighed knowing they were undoing everything she'd patched up just as Bobby gently grabbed her arm and pulled her into him and out of the way of Tig and Kozik. "Don't worry Storm. You should go get some sleep." Bobby suggested as Storm rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm not getting any sleep any time soon with these two undoing everything I did before. I'll have to patch the two three year olds up again." Storm told Bobby making him chuckle as she watched Tig bite Kozik making her cringe.

"Enough." Clay yelled finally ending the fight between Tig and Kozik as they quickly separated bloody and the bruises already forming along with the swelling. "I'll take Tig, you take Kozik." Chibs said as he threw the medical bag down on the table as Storm nodded. Storm walked forward with Chibs and went to Kozik while Chibs pushed Tig down into the nearest seat. "Over there." Storm said as she pointed to the chair furthest away from Tig figuring it was best to keep the two separated. Kozik quickly sat down as Storm gathered up the medical supplies she needed to fix him up.

Storm finished the last stitch above his eyebrow and applied the bandage. "Who did this?" Kozik asked as he gently grabbed her wrist, reading her tattoo and smiling. "I did it, no one else tattoos me." Storm replied as he released her. "Try and make the stitches last longer this time." Storm told him. "I'll try." Kozik said smirking as she stepped away as Chibs had finished with Tig. She quickly cleaned up.

"Right, I'm going to bed seeing I have to be back at St Thomas by 6am to start my double shift." Storm said as she looked up at the clock, seeing it was almost 3am already. "Even though the threat is over with, I still want Juice to take you to work." Clay told her firmly as she ran her hands through her hair. "Alright." Storm answered before she made her way to Juice's room and getting into bed.

Storm sat on the edge of bed, the three hour nap doing nothing to make her feel better or the shower for that matter. She dressed in her light blue scrubs, putting one of Juice's black hoodies on over her scrubs, and packed her bag before leaning over a snoring Juice. "Juice." Storm said quietly not wanting to startle him awake but he only turned over. "Juice" Storm said louder as he quickly opened his eyes. "I need you to take me to work." Storm told him, he rubbed his face, and quickly got up throwing on some clothes along with his kutte. Juice followed Storm out of the clubhouse and got on his bike, taking off for St Thomas.

Storm pulled off her helmet and got off the bike, handing it back to Juice. "What time do you finish?" Juice asked wearily. "I'm working a double so this time tomorrow." Storm answered as she tied her hair up into a ponytail. "Alright, I'll be here then, and we can go to breakfast." Juice smiled as he pulled away not leaving her time to reply, just wanting to get back to the clubhouse and crawl back into bed for another few hours. She quickly made her way into the hospital to start her shift.

"Storm they want you up in oncology." Her supervisor said as she filed a chart away. "Alright, I'll head up there now." Storm answered making her way over to the elevator and getting in. Storm walked up to the oncology desk. "I was paged down in the ER." Storm told the oncology desk nurse. "Over there." The nurse said pointing her head towards the patients. Storm turned to see Wayne in a recliner, having a treatment; he waved as she turned to walk toward him.

"Hi sweetheart. I heard you were back." Wayne said as she sat down next to him, as he took her hand in his. "How is the treatment going?" Storm asked looking at the chemotherapy. "It's going sweetheart. How are you going?" Wayne asked non-chantingly. "It's going...I still feel lost sometimes but I'm working it out." Storm answered honestly. "You didn't deserve to get what you did but you also need to know that it's only getting worse sweetheart...the violence...you should take the chance while you have it and run." Wayne told Storm squeezing her hand tightly as she squeezed it back. "Thanks Unser. I have to go back down to the ER...but thank you for always looking out for me and my family." Storm said leaning down and kissing his cheek before walking away, but his words were already ringing in her head.
