Deep in a facility underground, alarms blare. A creature has escaped containment, and is fleeing for it's life. The Parcion call it A-26. It calls itself Hrrg'thn. It runs through the endless hallways now, pushing past guards and researchers, searching for a way out. It runs up flight after flight after flight after flight of stairs, before finally finding a final lobby. It runs through the doors, into the waning light of the sun.
It runs and runs and runs and runs and runs until finally stopping at a ridge overlooking a small village. The sun slowly begins to rise, casting the valley in golden light. The stars above slowly close their eyes. The village below comes to life, the first few people starting up cars and preparing horses. They greet each other, and say good morning and beautiful, isn't it? They love their home, their valley. The creature knows it will be dragged back down into the earth again. But for now, it loves to be alive.
