two knee pads and a top ha.t

My aunt drove a faded teal beetle
     that chugged along the street
With such wild inclinations
and a bounce in her seat.

People raised their eyebrows at the bizarreness
     they saw
Since wanderlusts like her rearranged the
     standard law.

Meditation and spiritual love
     encapsulated her life
And she tried to entice others to follow the
     same flight.

Then one day I saw her gardening outside a
     store that sold knick knacks
Wearing flowery leggings and
a blue vest, two knee pads and a top hat.

It struck me as odd the way she didn't
     care at all
As if the world was ending
and being herself was the true,
     final call.

Since then they titled her the "Rodeo
     Clown" because she strut
     a crazy style
Always leaning toward the wind as Mother
     Nature's most adventurous child.
