Okay, I think the body is done. I think, looking at the pieces of cloth that have finally been sewn together after about six hours — including two smoke breaks, one five-minute shower, and a couple minutes to eat something —. It looks plain, but, after all, it's not finished yet. I still have to make a hood, and that's gonna take me at least another two hours.

"I don't have the patience for this shit." I scoff, letting myself fall onto my bed on my stomach, basically drowning myself in all the plushies I've collected over the years I've been here. There's one I won when I was at the fair with Lucia, one I bought when I was at the mall with Maddie, one Miles won for me at the fair because I wanted it so bad but was out of money. Oh, yeah. I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and then he full-on kissed me in the middle of a crowd. That was funny, really.

I laugh, thinking back to the first year me and Miles started living together. He did a lot of that odd shit back then. At the fair, we got mistaken at a couple constantly after he kissed me. I don't blame them, though, 'cause I would've thought the same thing. Who would kiss someone they aren't dating in public?

What time is it, anyway? While I grab my phone, a text message pops up, lighting up my lock screen.

Right. I totally forgot Lucia was still in town with the whole Spiderwoman and Lia thing. Fuck. A feeling of guilt creeps into my stomach, as I really did forget about her. But, to be honest, she could've sent me a text or something. I mean, she saw the Chuck thing on TV, too.
