JUDEOver the next few days, barely any of my teammates talked to me, not even during training, which bummed me out. Apart from that, I got hundreds of messages from Davina's friends as well as mine, annoying me even more.

That was only a few of them. I didn't even include her friends and how much my teammates were pestering me about it. They even started shooting the ball at me on purpose just to piss me off. It worked, I'll give them that but didn't help at all with my injury.
When I saw Davina's Instagram post with her friends and Bukayo, I couldn't help but read the caption (the fingers are meant for someone). Undoubtedly that someone was me and I couldn't help but feel guilty.
What Lorenzo had said was true. Him and his sister had gone through the same things growing up. Losing both their parents and their baby sister wasn't something someone could get over so fast. And now, partly because of me, she'd lost her job and without it she could be back in Birmingham, struggling again.
Fuck.
She probably had it worse than Lorenzo too, having to take of him and everything. I still hated her guts, though I didn't know why or how that feeling even came about. I mean, the first day we met was alright. I even welcomed her into class but after that it just went downhill and that welcoming feeling never returned.
Did I fuck up?
